Its good material but I think it has has an excessive number of pockets for the room it has. There's only 2 compartments really large enough for much, the other pockets you can get a letter or something thin and small in. 7 pockets for about an inch and half of space .

I've recently purchased a few leather items on Amazon and noticed some have a strong chemical odor from the tanning method. This bag doesn't have that strong odor, it smells like my leather jacket iv'e had for years. Solid construction, good seams, more zippered pockets than I expected and will hold everything I need like Mini-I pad and charger, phone, inhaler and it's charger, note pad, pens and space for my vitamins and a sandwich box! Shipping was fast and the price is what I'd expect to pay for a production product with this quality.

Really like the bag as it has plenty of storage and pockets. It fits my Fire tablet well. The reason for 4 stars vs 5 stars was the shoulder strap. I was expecting a leather strap but it is a nylon strap and the strap is longer than I like.
