DIY 911 Reflective Address 3 Inch Reflective Numbers By Mg2 Signs

These are exactly what I was looking for. Living in a rural area with little to no street lighting, these highly reflective numbers on your mailbox make it easy for guests and most importantly 911 responders to find you. I had no issues applying them (see my photos). Yes, they are thin, similar to DMV stickers that go on license plates, but if you plan properly and have patience, you'll achieve nice results. Be sure to clean and thoroughly dry the surface. I suggest you make a template out of paper or cardboard and/or use a ruler to help line them up straight. Then apply slowly from the bottom, gradually moving up and smoothing out any bubbles with your finger, once fully in place, rub the shiny side of the label paper over them to make sure they adhere fully. The adhesive is strong making them not easy to re-position so take your time. I'm a bit OCD myself so I understand the desire for them to be perfectly straight. I did the best I could and I'm very pleased with the product and the result.

Pros: Highly Reflective - Attaches Easily - Seems to stick well. Only time will tell. I think it is an excellent value.Cons: Installing was difficult to get things lined up and spaced right. Even when I drew marks to help it was difficult. I am not happy with the job I did. A template would be helpful for that and a hard backing for the numbers so that they are easier to place.End Result: I am pleased with the product and hope that some of the recommendations I have suggested would be implemented.

We don't install a new mailbox (or address sign) frequently, but these numbers were perfect. They take a little care in applying, but are quite reflective!

Font type is different from pic. 6 and 9 are the same which was great for my address. They are on a Rubbermaid style box for the summer. So far have not fallen off. Very small corner lift but can only be seen a up close. If they fail in winter will make an update.

Worked for my address on a light pole. I have a long driveway, and now Uber eats and delivery services can find my place.

I put my numbers on the mailbox and they are very reflective at night. The white numbers on the black mailbox show up very well in the day time as well.

- I needed to mark our numbers and make them as reflective as possible, so I looked around and there wasn't much available to be honest.- Then I saw DIY 911 and everything looks great, so I asked him, can you custom make me 6.5 inch in height / standard size numbers?- To my surprise, he said sure.- That's going above and beyond and other companies would not do so, if they would even respond at that point. He did.- Anyway, I applied the reflective stickers over top my white numbers. Perfect.- Now in the evenings and throughout the nights, whenever anyone drives towards our complex, you can clearly see the numbers.- I even cut and applied reflective strips along the sides of our sign, so you can see it coming from either way as well.- And its not expensive at all.- Will buy again if need be and recommend to friends, etc.
