Great fastener!
Maze nails are the best. Old fashioned type wedges perfect for pre-drilling 3/16 in masonry. So Hard without drilling they can bounce hammering so use safety squints. 2" is +-95count per lb. box. 3" is +-45count.

Cut nails
I am just getting into understanding cut nails and their use.I would like to find some that are not heat treated (softer) to be able to clench the nails for use in woodwork. Yes, I am using these 'off designed task', and if I didn't want to clench them, they are great as designed. This design has been around a LONG time, it is just new to me.

The look is perfect! Now
I'm really enjoying these! I bought them to use as 'hooks' for some frying pans that I wanted to hang from a beam in my 1922 home. The look is perfect! Now, because I have so many of them left, I find myself looking for other things to use them for.I just used one as a hook outside to hand my hummingbird feeder. I figure it's a hummignbird feeder and a good test of how this will hold up outside in the Pacific Northwest. They're pretty cool! I'm glad I bought these nails.

Not for masonry, but worked great
I used these on a historically inspired project. After pilot drilling, they worked great and held tight in the pine I used. Would recommend.
