Creative, humorously illustrated dino-loving books!
This super fun series of books are sure to please all the dino lovers out there! My dino loving 4.5yr old can't get enough dinosaur books and I can't get enough of the creatively illustrated stories in this series as you journey through typical toddler and preschool behaviors with boundry testing, mood swinging picky"fun" (humorously illustrated) and still the undeniable love between parent and child. Great books to have in your little readers library!

Problems with CD
I love this book, but Track 1 (with turn the page signals) doesn't work. The CD was made in a foreign country (although the English is flawless) which may have affected the quality. I was able to rip track 1 to a laptop, then kids could listen to it, but even then there were scratch sounds throughout the first few pages. I would NOT recommend buying this set.

Beautiful and Helpful
I have twin toddlers, and mealtime is frequently a disaster. There's food all over the floor, juice all over their trays, and two gigantic messes eager to jump into the tub. This book has been a tremendous help. First of all, the illustrations are absolutely beautiful. They're funny and elegant, and filled with little touches that my children love- like household pets watching in horror as the poorly behaved dinosaurs wreak havoc on mealtime. I myself am particularly fond of the illustrations of the dinosaur's poor human parents, watching in disgust and alarm as their dinosaur children throw food in the air, bubble their milk, or stick beans up their noses. Then there's the story itself. Short and sweet, and cleverly rhymed. The rhyme is the most helpful. Now that my children know and love the book so much, at mealtimes I only need to repeat a rhyme from to book, "Does a dinosaur throw down his cup, hoping to make someone else pick it up?" for my children to shake their heads, and meekly place their cups into the cup holders on their trays.Maybe the book is magic, I don't know, but it's been wonderful. We read it several times a week, and I think it will continue to be a staple around bedtime in our home for years to come.

Great for dinosaur lovers
It is a great book for a dinosaur lover. My kid loves books and dinosaur, so this is perfect. This also educational. He will behave like the dinosaurs in the book.

Narrator takes foooooooorever
Great book...super obnoxious narrator. She took forever to read each page...like painfully long pauses and uninteresting acting...we ended up reading it ourselves by the first page!

Easy reads for our bedtime story
Bought two "How Do Dinosaurs…" books for my 3yr olds birthday. She loves this series and we read one each night! Easy reads for our bedtime story. We will continue to collect this series.

Okay
The book is great but I didn't like the CD. Lots of background noise and I'm pretty sure I could read the book way better than the lady did. Got it for a car trip for the kids. Our six year old loved it but three y.o. couldnt figure out when to turn the pages and got very frustrated.

Great illustrations but out of date wording
We already have another book from this series called ‘How do dinosaurs go to school?’ and both my kids love it. I bought this one, which is a lovely large size and the illustrations are very funny and appealing. However, unlike the ‘How do dinosaurs go to school?’ book, I found I didn’t agree with the wording in this one - particularly the end ‘manners’. Most likely because of the time the book was written, I think the words are now a bit outdated; children are not supposed to be so compliant...they’re not mini adults. I did find a way around this though - I changed the words to bring it more up to date/relatable/funny and to match the amazing illustrations so my kids can enjoy it.

Disappointing
Book is ok but a bit too 'goody goody' for my liking. The pictures are nice but I was looking for something with more humour and less preaching.

Perfect for toddlers
My daughter loved this dinosaur series when she was younger, she is 4 now but we still sometimes read them as one last quick book before bed. All of the "how do dinosaurs..." books are cute and funny and help teach toddlers manners and good behaviour.
