The media could not be loaded. I spent hours upon hours looking for a starter dollhouse for my one-year-old daughter. I wanted something girly but neutral enough that it wasn’t an eyesore. I also wanted something on the cheaper end since she is so little. I was apprehensive to get this one because it didn’t have any interactive pieces (doorbell, elevator, etc) but it honestly is beautiful in its simplicity.The wood is cheaper particle board. There were times during assembly that I had to be a bit more gentle handed to not accidentally snap any boards. That being said, it is perfectly sturdy and durable once it is together. For normal play, you shouldn’t have any problems.A big positive for me is the size. It is large enough to capture the attention of any little kid, yet not so large that it needs to be mounted to the wall. The furniture it arrived with is large enough to not pose as a choking hazard (minus a few pieces). I was going to order a wooden set of furniture, but the furniture it came with will be just fine.Now for assembly.. I assembled this in about an hour by myself. There are only 6 steps and it’s relatively self explanatory. I highly recommend you have a short handled screw driver to easily get into the nooks. I found that some of the holes were relatively small for the screws, but screwing at an angle did the trick and I did not have to drill any holes.Overall, if you’re looking for a cheaper dollhouse for the time being, this is a great choice. The quality is spot on for the price and any little kid will absolutely love it.One other note- The dollhouse arrives in a plain brown box, so it’s definitely not gift-able without putting it together.

Great quality for the price as it is sturdy and comes with furniture. Wide range of ages enjoy playing with this. Instructions are simplistic so take your time and look at the diagram as you assemble. We assembled with two adults and it took about 45 min. The graphics are great and while I thought about purchasing more furniture but actually the imagination works great with the people I bought (see photo) and the things to do. Calico Critters furniture is the same size and mould so you can always add furniture from their store. Hape wooden toy furniture can also be used. Doll size is about 2-5” max and the people I purchased work great. One item breaks quickly and that is the shower head nozzle so caution with getting it on and off the shower stand. Fixable if you’re handy! All in all great first dollhouse so you can teach the kiddos to play carefully so that they can have an actual full sized dollhouse that’s more expensive with nicer furniture down there road. I’m impressed with it. UPDATE: added stick up lights that are battery operated and a push on-off style. Perfect!

I bought this for my 5-year-old granddaughter, it is absolutely adorable. Super easy to put together, only took me about 45 minutes. And believe me if I can put it together anyone can. Make sure when you open up the package you don't take off the white plastic foam, it has the numbers on each instead of the playhouse itself which make it a lot easier not having to peel off stickers.It came with plenty of doll furniture.It feels sturdy enough for any small child. I highly recommend

This doll house is a good size, made well. The instructions were easy to follow. The furniture is small will have to use smaller dolls to play,barbies will be to big. I dislike that the back is just plain but overall it's a nice house that I hope last a while.

Specifically bought this doll house to replace her old bulky one that took up way too much space in her room. This house is so slim in comparison and not only do I love that but my daughter is so pleased with it too.There is no design on the back of this house so you can simply push it up against a wall and still have space in whatever room you decide to put this in. The furniture is so cute and so detailed. The house itself is extremely detailed as well and makes it really engaging for a small child. I originally opened the box and saw small dowel rods and immediately closed the box because I do not enjoy putting things together. HOWEVER, when I finally decided to build this I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to build.For the price it has completely blown me out of the water. You’re definitely getting more for your money with this one.

Other than that it is perfect for my 2 year old, it’s pretty big too, it’s wood so it is sturdy and absolutely beautiful! Worth the money! Now she will have this until she’s a teenager! It doesn’t come with small dolls so I will have to go and buy some.

The media could not be loaded. This doll house is a dream house for my daughters. Very nice and it comes with all the furniture.. Nice material. It's not plastic. It has everything a doll house should have. The only thing you need to buy is your favourite mini characters for playing.. Assembly was very easy and straight forward. It's suitable for age 3 to 10.
