Very good chicken dinners but priced too high as I see it!

I purchased 6 chicken dinners and was greatly disappointed. I have bought these dinners for years and was upset at the quality. Several chicken parts were burnt, the desserts didn’t rise either. I also bought the chicken with the white gravy and they stuck to the bottom, pulled off the coating. I will not buy these again

By the time the product gets to me the ice has melted and the dinners are not frozen. You should use dry ice

If you follow the cooking instructions, you will definitely leave a bad review. The perfect way to cook these is the old school instructions. Tip: cooking time the same, increase temp to 400 vs 350. Flip chicken pieces half way through. Result, crispy chicken, sides cooked to perfection with a nicely cooked brownie.

Why on Earth would a former chef rate a frozen dinner five stars? Because the chicken is tasty! It's frozen and precooked, not fresh (aka only refrigerated) from raw chickens, like that used in expensive restaurants and even some cheaper joints. If the chicken's still on the bone, it's probably fresh at the big chains - otherwise, it's frozen and precooked. Nonetheless, even "leftover", frozen chicken can be delicious if the recipe is good, as is the case with this Swanson product. The brownie is yummy as well, but you'll have to bury the taters and corn in butter to make them edible. Naturally, you'll want to purchase the most recently made product, so be sure to learn how to decipher Swanson's date-of-manufacture code. When buying from Amazon, freshness should not be an issue.

I tried one of these fried chicken meals and it was garbage. Actually garbage would likely be better value.There was nothing that could be considered chicken meat. It was all bone and dried out bread coating. There was about a tablespoon of tasteless mashed potatoes and another tablespoon of corn. Also, the brownie was dried out and hard as a rock. I see why they call this a hungry man meal as you will stay hungry after trying to eat one of these. I will never buy any of the hungry man meals again, fool me once!

Only 2 pieces of chicken, the other was a dry piece of breading. What happened to this dinner, used to be so good.
