My 5 yr old grandson loves this bank! The digital counter is acurate and we sure put it to the test. The lid screws on easily so you can conveniently access your savings or empty it our for counting practice with a young one. Terrific encouragement to save money and learn about the different coin and dollar values for a child. I'm not sure how much it will hold but it's a really nice sized jar, not cheap plastic.

This works amazingly well. I bought it for my wife at her request and she really likes it. You can't just dump a handful of change in it, you have to press each coin through it one at a time, but it takes coins quickly and for us, with 100% accuracy.

I love this product. It reads all the standard coins as well as half dollar and dollar coins. The only issue is that it often reads dimes as pennies. I tried different speeds and angles, but it seems to be random.That being said, the $$ amount can always be adjusted with the buttons, which is a nice feature.

Functions exactly as expected, and does it quite well. My previous bank occasionally confused dimes and pennies. Not so with this bank. Everything works great and is accurate. Highly recommended.

I almost didn’t buy this because the reviews indicated it confuses dimes and pennies. It sounded like a hassle. It doesn’t confuse dimes and pennies though. We had no problems with that at all. It counts the coins accurately. It made a great gift. I highly recommend!

The media could not be loaded. It counts DIMES as PENNIES, so it can be a bit inaccurate. I had a lot of dimes, (7.70 specifically), so I put those dimes in manually when I realized it counts Dimes as Pennys.I would consider myself a professional change counter (years of retail, now customer service where all I do is handle people’s money), and I wanted this to make my life easier so I don’t have to count change at home. But, I still did. I went off what it told me and what I counted, and it missed 3 pennies. So, if you put in change back to back it’ll sometimes miss whatever you put in immediately after, so WAIT A SECOND before pushing in another.It’s not 100% accurate because it’s not reading what you’re putting in, it’s going based on size(length) of the coin that gets slid in. Honestly, the force you need to push in a coin surprised me, it takes some effort to push in a damn quarter haha

We love this piggy bank. Fun to watch our loose change grow by exactly each time we use make a deposit. The counter changes the meaning of “piggy bank”
