Easy to use!
This review is for the full gas spring standing desk converter option in walnut. I'm very happy with my purchase! This converter is BIG - I knew it was 36" but it feels a lot bigger when the box actually arrives. It was very well packaged and super easy to assemble. The only thing I had to do was screw in the keyboard section, and all the necessary tools were provided. I did need some help lifting the package and getting the converter out of the box (as a 5'2" petite woman, it wouldn't have been impossible solo, but it was a lot easier with a helping hand!), but I was able to get the converter onto my desk alone. It is hefty! But it comes almost entirely pre-assembled, which makes things much easier. The gas springs are really easy to use, and make moving the desk up and down incredibly easy. I'm a reasonably fit person, but I think if you struggle to lift or carry things generally, you would be better served by an electric option. If you don't mind doing a little bit of manual labor, this is not much of a chore, and personally it makes me feel like I'm moving a little bit more at work, which I like. The walnut color looks really nice in my office, and the converter seems super solid. On my desk, I'm housing a monitor and smallish PC tower, my office phone, a pen cup, a small succulent, a keyboard, mouse, mousepad, and a few odds and ends. So far, so good. I'm really happy with this converter and I think the price was pretty reasonable. You definitely need a sturdy desk to put this product on top of, because it is hefty.

Quality, and great for standing position!
I ordered the 36” size in wood grain. I mistakenly thought the grain color on my desk would be close to this but not even close. I received it earlier than the expected delivery, and undamaged - it is completely surrounded in a foam shell in the box. The construction and quality is very good!In the standing position I love it!! Adjusting it to a comfortable height is very simple and near effortless. I have to remember to bring slippers to work, as standing in my heels doesn’t work for me. At first I was annoyed with the device tray on the desk, because that area is where I look at files and write, and the lip on the tray makes it uneven surface - until I realized I can just take the tray out and put it in the bottom of the desk therefore making the surface flat.In a sitting position I almost hate it - even when lowered it’s very tall, I don’t have a chair that goes high enough, and my chair already goes to my knees with my work heels on. The keyboard is above a right angle of my elbows, the workspace in front of me (which is a space I use A LOT) is too high and not easily manageable. I’m hoping to find a new chair that will be higher to make it more comfortable.

Looks great in my office
This product came earlier than expected which is great! looks great on my walnut desk in my office. the only thing I wish it had is that the bottom tray be adjustable to move in or out. It is stationary but would be much more functional for me if it actually moved. It also does not lock in place if not extended all the way up or down. Would like to be able to have it stay in place if only partially extended. Unless of course i am not doing something right. Over all, pretty happy with it.

Makes a better coffee table than standing desk converter.
The best part about it is that it comes in one piece. For over 100$ though it doesn’t work for it’s purpose and looks kinda dumb for what it works for.Cons:-Not enough space on the keyboard/mouse shelf to do anything with your mouse. -Not enough space underneath to use as a glorified computer stand.-Sure it’s pneumatic but the thing only locks in like 4 places.——unless you have a light monitor, happen to fit one of the four locking heights, or don’t put any weight on top of it when you type it’s way too expensive, heavy, and uncomfortable.———Pros:-It basically comes in one piece-Makes a decent kinda weird looking coffee table-satisfying sound when you raise and lower it-decent looking relatively tough surface.——Yeah………Just buy a standing desk.———-Standing desk Pros:-Same surface material as this joke.-comparable price for much more space.-Actually comfortable.-Does what it’s built for well.Cons:-bigger-sturdier-not a joke of a product… oh wait these are just more StandingDesk pros…X’D

BEWARE - other reviews are not for this stand and keyboard tray does NOT move
I would love this standing desk IF the keyboard tray were adjustable. I read other reviews and thought it sounded great and fully adjustable, but after it arrived, I learned that the only "adjustment" you can make to the tray is to take it off. It sticks out at least " in front of the desk and cannot be slid in or out or raised up or down or tilted for your comfort EXCEPT with the entire desk. The desk is roomy and sturdy, but not being able to move the keyboard pretty much defeats the purpose of having an adjustable desk for your comfort. Overall, it is okay, but not great. Need to redesign the keyboard tray before I would give it 5 stars. If you carefully read the other reviews that have been lumped in with ones for this standing desk, they are for a laptop tray desk and falsely give the impression these desks have received 4.5 stars over thousands of reviews. That is simply untrue and very misleading. If you need to be able to adjust your keyboard, especially slide it out of your way, this is not the desk for you.
