Artline Black Laundry Marker and White Fabric Marker (Twin Pack)

I was tired of using an old laundry marker that just seemed to almost wash out each time, so I got these to try. Straight out of the packet the black worked well, but the white seemed to be suffering as some of the reviews confirm. This was wrong, and you just need to persevere to get the ink flowing. The white pen has a ball that is loose inside which tells me that I need to shake to stir up the contents. It took a good few minutes of shaking, gently depressing the nib and trying to write before the white ink started to come out. From that point on it works perfectly well and the ink flows easily. Rest assured, you don't need to go through this process each time you use it once you get it working. Clothes have been washed several times and the markings are still there, so it's a thumbs up from me. You just need to persevere with the white to get it working but once it does you will be happy.

Easy to use

Black marker very good really clear and easy to use. White one not as clear and doesn’t show up well seemed dryer than black one.

Bought this to use on my father inlaws clothes as he is in a care home and his clothes were always lost. We write his name on labels of his clothes. It withstands the high temperatures of the washing that the care home uses.

No problem with the black marker but I took a chance & bought the pack that had a white marker in as well. A total duff pen like other comments. Nothing came out of it.

The black pen worked very well, was easy to use and marked the lighter fabrics effectively. The white pen had to be shaken first and like a previous customer, I found “dotting” worked best, great for marking black socks. I can’t advise, as yet, how well the dots remain after washing.

Bought these to label my daughters clothes before she went on a cricket tour. They needed a bit of a shake and a squeeze to get them going but once the ink started to flow definitely did the job.

I was concerned about getting these after reading some of the reviews, but I have found they work really well. I needed to label up my Mums clothes and some have gone through the wash twice and initials are all still on clothing labels. The black one is like a black marker and easy to use. The white pen needs to be shaken well and you can hear it working. After it’s shaken for a while dab the pen nib to check liquid comes out onto paper. Then when you apply it to a label do this in dots rather than trying to write with it. I have been able to use this on socks and some are quite thick and it has worked well. And it has also stayed on the items after a few washes. Really pleased and would buy them again.

Kids needed to mark clothing for a 6 week summer camp and this is the one we tried. it worked perfectly for that time frame. It marked the clothing well, lasted for the 6 weeks and was easy to apply. What I can't tell you is how much longer it would have last. I can say it lasts for 6 weeks. For me I marked the clothing then washed it here at the house and when I did that I didn't get any bleeding onto other clothing or the rest of each piece. So for something simple like this these worked perfectly.

AS SOON AS YOU GET THEM MAKE SURE THEY WORK. I TESTED THEM AS SOON AS THEY ARRIVED. MY DAUGHTER EVENTUALLY GOT THE WHITE MARKER TO WORK BUT THE BLACK ONE DEFINITELY DOESN'T WORK SO I HAD TO RETURN THEM.

It's not work ...the white it's dry And black I fixed but quickly dry Bad product.
