Is it coast guard approval?

This is a pool toy. If you find yourself on the Titanic post-iceberg, leave this toy in your room and head for a proper lifeboat.

How does the shoulder strap work? Does it interfere with a freestyle stroke? Can this be attached to the ankle instead?

The shoulder strap is not adjustable. it is not recommended to be attached to your ankle as you are swimming it would be uncomfortable. We would recommend the Safer Swim Buoy as this item can be placed around your waist and the buoy floats behind you.

Is it coast guards approval?

I doubt it. It’s a little float you use in a pool. You’re not gonna use it on the Titanic. It’s a pool toy. My grandson loves his.

why is the re such a price difference betw the yellow and red one?
