Incase Hardshell Case for MacBook Air 13" Dots - Rose Quartz

Fits like a glove on my 2019 Macbook Air 13.3”I was skeptical about buying this item because there weren’t many reviews, but I am glad I purchased it.Installation is easy and the hard shell case snaps effortlessly onto the front and back of the macbook. Removal is pretty easy as well.The finish is nice and the case itself is textured. Unlike other cases I was contemplating buying, on this one there is no smudging from fingerprints. And also unlike other cases, this one allows you to move back your screen more than ninety degrees. The logo is also very subtle and nice looking. I’ve seen other cases where the logo is large and in a horrible font.It is nice and thin so I can carry it around in my backpack, but feels pretty sturdy as well. However, sometimes the back part of the case lifts a little because there are no clips in certain places. It’s not a huge deal though.Although it is a bit more expensive than other cases out there, I think it is definitely worth the money.

This will protect against dirt and scratches but not from a serious drop. I dropped my laptop off the side of my bed on accident and the case popped off.

I desperately wanted to get a protective cover for my new Macbook Air 13. I looked around at several brick and mortars along with scouring the internet articles from PC Mag, and other Tech companies and whittled it down. The first one was terribly disappointing. To rigid and brittle as well as aesthetically unappealing. And I did want gold for some reason. I actually trashed the first two I bought for $20 and decided on this Incase version. It fits like a glove with great protection, looks fantastic and I am finally content. I liked it so much I also ordered the soft zipper Incase sleeve that has fake fur inside. With this protective shell it fits very well zipped into the sleeve and now I finally feel like I can start dragging my very expensive new Macbook around. Thanks Incase for making such a supreme product!

I like Incase products and have found them to hold up pretty well. I started using them back in 2007 for a 15" MacBook Pro and have also experienced them with iOS devices. There is something about this particular cover that feels "off". It always seemed unusually brittle and it was not an exact fit as I am usually accustomed to with their products. Its cracking at the rear corners on both sides of the lower cover. Keep in my mind that with WFH, this computer stays put for the most part. Not a good investment. Maybe thats why it was only 25 bucks.....

Disclaimer- I bought this case on sale (somehow found it on amazon for $10- instead of its usual $50, but I will say, I wold buy this case for $50 now after experiencing how this case protected my laptop. I had my laptop sitting in my bag, on top of a table, and somehow my bag got off balance, and fell off the table onto the ground. My laptop landed flat on the ground, upside down. Picked up my laptop, dreading opening it up and seeing it cracked or not working, and then opened it up to see not a single issue. No cracks or problems with it! Checked the case, assuming a fall like that would have definitely cracked the case, but to my surprise, there wasn't any! After I immediately jumped on amazon to write the review and order a second case for backup. While I am not usually rough on my laptop, I am sooooooo glad I had this case to protect my laptop! Buy it. And if you don't want to drop the $50, shop around for this case. I have found with the older versions there is a case that is cheaper(if you don't mind random colors). Truly exceeded my expectations.

Case fits snugly on 2020 MacBook Air, but allows clear access to all ports. Translucent design allows one to see the beauty of the MacBook Air and rough surface makes the computer easier to grip. MacBook Air display can be open in any position without the case interfering. The case is also slim enough to not significant bulk or weight to computer. While I couldn't/wouldn't test it, the case is supposedly made of a better material that won't fracture like the typical plastic used on hard cases. Hopefully, it's not just marketing.The only negative is the company printed the installation instructions in tiny, unreadable print on the packaging such that it is unusable. Careful examination and effort along with a on-line video made the installation process easy enough. Removal also is pretty easy once you know the recipe.

The product really protects the computer. The material is resistant. It is the second piece I buy. I replaced the computer and bought a new protection. I was very satisfied.

As you can see, there is a small chip on the bottom corner of the case and a fairly large gap where the case is supposed to meet the computer. When I was putting the case on, I accidentally broke the corner because the case does not fit the 2020 model as it is advertised. I am extremely disappointed as this case is not cheap and now I cannot return it due to damage that occurred the same day I bought it. This case is neither durable or a good case choice.

I bought this case for my brand new MacBook Air 13” just a month ago and it’s too big so I donated the case too a charity as it just doesn’t fit it’s about 2-4 inches too wide.

Macht einen sehr robusten Eindruck. Aber jetzt nach ca einem halben Jahr zeigen sich doch kleine Risse an den Ecken. Hält aber länger als andere Produkte.

Fitted on my laptop very easily and snugly, without interfering with any functions.

Once it gets scuffed/banged, it’ll stick out like a sore thumb, but it did do it’s job, it protected my MacBook Air.
