Gamecube Controller Adapter for Nintendo Switch / OLED / Switch 2 Gamecube Adapter, Compatible with PC WII U Switch 2, Support 4 Gamecube Controller to Play Supper Smash Bros with 70IN Long Cable

At first it was not working at all (Using it to connect Gamecube controllers to Dolphin Emulator). Tried configuring a few settings and I eventually got it to work. Setting up for multiple players (2-4 players) was a bit more difficult, but I got through it! After the pain of it, it works great! Barely much lag and a good length cable. Used it to play some Mario Kart Double Dash :)

Works as expected. Now I can connect 4 GameCube controllers to my Switch!

Used it with Wii U for Nintendont for vWii and both PC/Mac for Dolphin emu flawlessly. Supports all inputs including rumble and partial/full L/R trigger press for games like Mario Sunshine, Need for Speed, etc. There’s a little bit of setup for both Nintendont and Dolphin. If you’re using Nintendont you have to download the “generic GameCube controller adapter” .ini file, and rename it as the correct product id and vendor id. It is listed in the file, but you need to name it as ”0079_1846” for this adapter. Once you rename it to those numbers with the underscore and put it on the root of your SD (or in your controllers folder) it will be good to go. Make sure you have the toggle switch on the back of the adapter set correctly. I believe it will have to be set to PC for Nintendont. For Dolphin just follow the guide on the official website. You’ll need to install a driver.I didn’t notice any input lag, but I’m not a pro smash player. Seems pretty immediate to me. Really great price and couldn’t be happier with the product. No need to spend extra money on any other adapters. Happy gaming (:

I decided to test it out because I really didn’t want to play Sonic Adventure 2 on steam with an xbox controller, especially when I grew up using a game cube controller. To my surprise, it works perfectly! I have not had any problems with it and hope it lasts for a while!

Had a GameCube adapter that stopped working after Nintendo released an update for the switch. Had too get a new one and this one works flawlessly. GameCube controllers, wavebirds, GameCube extension cords, and work and remain responsive

I'm writing this on Dec. 1st, 2021 after purchasing it May of 2021. I originally purchased this adapter because the official nintendo one seems to be out of print.At first, every thing was fine. I had absolutely no issues with this game cube controller adapter for the Nintendo Switch. It worked great for months. Absolutely no problems. I would have easily given it 5 stars but sadly now I can not because it no longer works at all.I hadn't used it in about a month because I've been so occupied with with the new Mario Party Superstars, so I put it in a box on my bookcase out of harm's way. When I tried to use it on Sonic Mania (yes, it worked on Sonic Mania) and on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate - my game cube controller did nothing.I have tried using it on my pc as well. the thing is 100% dead. It's really strange because it worked perfectly fine early October. and it isn't the game cube controller it's self because it still works on my wii.I just find this to be really odd because it was working fine for months when I first got it.

Good quality, but this adaptor will not allow you to use the DK Bongos on dolphin with full compatibility.
