Beautifully designed and strongly made,the family from young to old loved this book !

We have the previous two books in this series and both are excellent, this one is of the same quality. However, the content is not for the uk market. The online review in the description is a bit misleading saying "what's best is these are ones you find right outside your door!"I shall be returning this book.

Great, realistic sounding bird recordings. Much better than I've heard in other recordings. The pictures are great, too, and easily identifiable. My 3-1/2 year old granddaughter, a budding birder, loved matching the birds to their calls. The text is aimed at a slightly older audience than a 3 year old, but that just means this book will be good for her for several years. Suitable for anyone wanting to be able to identify the more common birds in your yard (eastern North America) by their calls. I love this book, and so did the whole family at Christmas.

Love love love this book. Bought for 1 year old who is very interested in birds, as well as bird calls.The book itself is sturdy, solid board-book pages, with beautiful vibrant images of the birds, along with information to read about each bird.The side panel with the buttons for the bird calls is equally sturdy, and still sometimes I get confused thinking there is a crow outside the window causing- the calls are all very high quality.It also makes for a fun matching activity- I can flip through the book and baby can look for the matching button for each page, or baby can push the buttons and then we can flip through the book looking for the corresponding pages.The only thing I would change is just down to bring greedy, as I would love to have more birds/bird calls contained in the book. If baby wants another one down the road, won't hesitate as these books appear to be great quality and prove to be lots of kinds of fun for both of us!Would definitely recommend and/or buy again.

Have a 7, 6, 4 and 2 year old. Bought this as end of year school present and all my kids gravitate to it. When we go for walks they love knowing which bird is which and it isn’t annoying at all to hear them pressing the buttons. Can’t wait to buy more in series. The pages are board book thick and very robust and battery hasn’t worn down even after 7 months.
