Q: I have had the same code for a year and would now like to change code. Can I and how?

To change the combination on a push button lock box, the box must be open. On the inside of the front plate there are 10 grey screws to correspond with the 10 pushbuttons. On those grey screws there is an arrow HEAD. For all of the numbers in your code, the arrow HEAD must face "on" and everything else must face "off". You need to be able to see the arrow head before trying to set the code.

Q: what are the internal dimensions?

Sorry I can't answer that question right away . I purchased this box for my Dad. I would have to go there to measure. But I can tell you it's very heavy, very sturdy box. There is enough room for at least two keys . Maybe more, i just need to look at it again. Both keys are hanging on separate latches on back of the lid of the box . The code is 5 didgets, and keys are attached to lid. So there are had to misplaced because of the weight of the lid. We have had the occasion to use it many times, for many different reasons. Love this box. Great for an elderlys home.
