Stag Deer Antler Dog Chew (1kg Offcuts)

I have always bought antler for my Clumber spaniels and as they were finally due some new ones I thought I'd try a new supplier. The pictures show what I received. The listing states this category as "XXXL - 250g to 300g approx 8 inches (21cm)" For me at least they are accurate.I do not buy slices as they are reduced to two thin pieces of the hard outer horn within the day, sometimes the hour, and the remnants have more resemblance to a prison shiv a la Hollywood than anything worth keeping. Splits keep their integrity being half a 'section' but for adult chewers the best value and interest for the dogs comes from the whole sections. I renew about every 6 months because the remaining piece is approaching choke hazard size.I've never found a chew of any sort that holds their interest for weeks on end. They keep at it for a few days then keep coming back to it every few days as other toys take precedence briefly.Yes, these are expensive in the initial purchase and take a week to arrive but, they are not as expensive as many gram for gram, and they last a very long time time even with ardent chewers.

I've been buying antlers for my dogs for many years but it always stings having to fork out upwards of £30 in local pet shops so I thought I'd have a look on Amazon and I'm glad I did!I have two English Bull Terriers and they need big antlers so I went for the XXXL. It arrived quickly and when I opened it was pleasantly surprised how big it was. I guess 25-30 cm long and really substantial - bigger in fact than any I've bought before! I have paid more than double the price locally for smaller antlers so this felt like a real win already.Of course the big test of these things is what the dogs think of them and again, I wasn't disappointed. If it's possible, Henry looked like a dog who'd won the lottery when I gave it to him and after strutting proudly around the house and garden with it in his mouth for a while he retired to his bed for a serious chew.So I'm happy, Henry's happy and I'll definitely buy from here again. I've already recommended to a couple of colleagues who are also delighted and would definitely recommend again.

The media could not be loaded.  I've ordered deer antler dog chews a few times and this is the best one so far.Why? Usually, my dog chews them for a little bit and then get's bored real soon. This one she loves, as you can tell from the video - she will not put it down!We ordered the 'small' size as we have a cocker spaniel but thought that it may be too small - it's perfect though. It came very well packaged and it's great to find a product that actually is the same as the description given.We will be ordering from you again! Thanks!

Holy crap ! , It's huge! I have a GSD and he struggles to hold it , he has been chewing it for 2 hours and a bit of the marrow has disappeared... I think this will last months ! It is the XXXL one

Nothing wrong with the actual antler but having ordered one to find the size no were near that described bought another to find the same thing .You need to know the true length so its big enough or small enough for your dog to hold and chew, both were returned as too short about the size when I throw them so have resorted to visiting Pets at home and hoping to get right size and managed on this occasion tobuy a couple cheaper .Know its hard to do but see it from the customers point of view I see yours length v weight

First set of these were great but second set were much much smaller. Seller was responsive and helpful but apparently I was lucky to be upgraded with the first set and the far smaller second set were more typical. These are too small to be safely used by my small to medium-sized Tibetan Terriers so make sure you order a size appropriate for your dog. The photos on some reviews here resemble the bigger upgraded antlers rather than the smaller “correct” size fyi.

Fantastic value for money. I was a bit sceptical when I bought this that it wouldn’t be as big as it says it is supposed to be. I was wrong! Full weight and size advertised at and my Golden Retreiver loves it.

I have a staffy/American bully cross that weighs approx 35 kg so he's a big boy,normal chews don't last more than a few minutes, so I prefer to buy him antlers instead. His old one was getting to the size were I was nervous in case he accidentally swallowed it,as he likes to throw it up in the air and catch it before chewing on it. I've never tried this brand before so it was an unknown quantity,but nothing ventured,nothing gained. I ordered the xxxl,which according to the guide,should weigh between 250-300g. Well it came this morning,and it's humongous!! I weighed it,and it weighs 342g!! Rocco was highly delighted with his new antler and had a chomp on it straight away. Great value for money, a happy customer and a happy dog.
