Easy to clean, good material, cute

I ordered this cover because the stretchy one I had was getting too stretched out. I liked that this looked thicker than the stretchy ones and it is. The only thing is that it shrank a little bit during laundering. Now, it still covers the car seat, but not as much as i liked in the beginning, before I washed it. There is an inch wide gap on the sides. I have a Graco snugride car seat. Overall, I do like it but just wish it hasn’t shrank.

This cover is in my top 10 indispensable baby items. I've had it for several months now, and I love it as both a car seat cover and as a nursing cover. Before, I was using a muslin swaddle blanket to cover the car seat but it wasn't sufficiently cutting out the sun, and it was also constantly blowing off if I had the windows down. I also had purchased a nursing cover that unfortunately was brightly patterned on the underside too, and thin enough that a lot of light came through the material. With this canopy cover, the velcro loops secure the cape to the car seat handle, and the material is thick enough to drape over the seat (notice it's the biggest cover out there), while the peekaboo slit lets in air and a little light. If baby falls asleep in the car seat I can easily peek in without having to lift the cover and risk waking her. And the boring gray underside makes it a perfect nursing cover (just close the outermost snaps and stick your head through the hole). I've also used it as a blanket; the underside is nice and soft. Many of my friends got the canopy cover that is smaller and doesn't have the slit, and they are jealous of mine!

The product says it is a grey herringbone pattern on the outside. When I received the product I was surprised at how dark it was. It’s more black and white than it is grey and white. I felt the description was slightly misleading so please beware if you are looking for a lighter exterior cover!As for the car seat cover, I read in some other reviews that it doesn’t completely cover the sides. This is true for my Stokke Nuna Car Seat as well. I don’t have my baby yet to test if that will be a problem or not so we shall see about that. Otherwise it does provide good coverage though given how thick this is, I worry it might be too hot for summer use.

The Velcro tabs which connect the canopy to the car seat slide around so you constantly have to adjust the canopy to make sure it’s covering the seat properly. One positive is that I did figure out how to use this cover over my daughter when she was in a carrier. You just unbutton the inside snap(s), leaving the snaps closer to the edge buttoned up, and slide it over your baby’s head almost like a thick, soft poncho. I found myself appreciating this product more for that purpose than for covering the car seat.

For the price, it can’t be beat. I paid $14.99 for this at the end of October 2018.I’ve washed it several times, not that I needed to, and it’s holding up great.I love the opening in the middle because I can still see him in my rear facing mirror while I’m driving, while the sun stays out out of his face. It seems to make him feel secure and calm.The material is durable, thick with one side being soft making it more versatile. I’ve used it as a temporary blanket.I’m not sure about using it as a nursing cover though because it’s so dark inside, it’s hard to see, and because the material is thick and heavy, it may be a bit smothering to the baby. But in a pinch, it should work and do the job. I’m glad I bought this cover before the price went up by $5. It’s still a great buy compared to other covers out there.

I really love this cover and only have used it for a few days now. It keeps the sun out of my sons face which is a big issue he was having! The first day of use we had an emergency Dr appt and while waiting on our appt my other son was at the playground playing before it was time. The wind was so bad that day he didn't even notice. I did have to put it back down from blowing up few times. I do wish it could have something to tie onto the back and keep one side secure. I might end up doing something for that haven't figured it out yet. I love the snaps to fully close it if needed as well. I wish I'd thought of this sooner with my first son! I had so many people sticking their faces in his carseat when they were sick etc out shopping. I've noticed people now doing it, but not as bad yet.

Really cute, looks more black to me than navy but I still love the color. Also I wish the sides (next to the handbar on my car seat) were a little longer where it drapes. It could just be my car seat that creates a gap in this area on both sides, but hopefully it will be fine and not let in too much light or air. Washed well and arrived quickly. Love the plush inside and that you can snap together the front, hoping this will keep unwanted strangers from trying to view my little guy. We had a few instances with my first child where strangers would come up at a restaurant and/or store and just want to "peek" at the sleeping baby, but not really ask and just do it- my last car seat cover didn't have snaps like this one. Idk what's wrong with people, but I'm hoping this will help avoid those types of situations. Fingers crossed!
