Korean Tteokbokki Pink Rocket Original Spicy Rice Cake, Pack of 2 (4 Servings), Korean Street Foods, Rice Cake (Original)

I usually make my own whenever I am craving them but sometimes don’t have all of the ingredients on hand. These are perfect to satisfy my cravings. Nothing beats the real fresh rice cakes that I can buy from the local asian market, but these will do when you’re short on time and don’t feel like making a trip. Just pull these out of the cabinet and it’s ready in 5-10 minutes

This very much hit the craving I was having for weeks! I wanted something chewy but also savory and this very much hit the spot!The cons though is that there is way too much packaging compare to the small amount of food product you get. The price does not go well for it. If they make the packaging smaller and lower the price then I would buy this way more often.

If you are used to spicy things this is going to be very sweet to you. It was actually way too sweet and it was like eating a dessert. I could see the spice but I couldn't taste any. It's not their fault I didn't like it but I do wish it wasn't sweet.

I was searching for some new tteokbokki kit options and this brand came very highly recommended. Delivery was quick and the product quality was great (everything packaged well for freshness). There were some mixed reviews on the spice level. I don't have a very high spice tolerance and as soon as I smelled the seasoning packet (two were provided) I knew these were going to be out of my spice range. I only used 1 of the powder seasoning packets and added some brown sugar and soy sauce to cut the spice and make it a little sweeter. This ended up working perfectly and brought down the spice level to something I could tolerate. I've had other tteokbokki kits where the sauce didn't lend itself well to adjustments, but I'm happy to say this one did so I'll be able to enjoy it. The rice cakes cooked well in 3 -5 minutes and were so soft and chewy - perfect texture! I will definitely be purchasing these again.

But flavor can use some improvement.

This is probably the best Tteokbokki I've tried so far, including from restaurants... It was super easy to make in under 5 minutes, SUPER flavorful with nice soft rice cakes, the sauce thickens up which is nice ( I've tried other brands where the sauce is more runny and soup like ), the spice level is VERY high and I love it, for those sensitive to spice I'd suggest maybe not getting or throwing some cheese in to try and tame the spice level, but over all I give it an easy 5 stars as love everything about these.

This is the worst tteokbokki I ever had. I rue the day this product becomes someone's first experience with the normally delicious food. It smells and tastes like plastic even after cooking and is weirdly sweet,, like too sugar sweet. It's my biggest regret in a while. Don't get this, PLEASE.
