Great Workout With This DVD
I've been doing Taebo for the past 3 months now and have been getting great results. The primary Taebo DVD I was using is Billy Blanks Taebo Classic. Using this DVD along with some walking I've managed to lose close to 30lb and over 16" total. My waist, legs (mainly my thighs), and my arms are all becoming thinner and much more toned. I really can't stress enough how much I LOVE Taebo! I really wish I would've started sooner!I found the first half of this Insane Abs DVD to be a bit on the easy side because I'm used to some similar moves using my other DVD, but it did still make my abs and upper legs burn. The only move I still struggle with is one he calls the "windmill", but with time and practice that's even becoming easier for me to do.The second half of the DVD focuses on floor exercises and that's where it killed me! The first time I tried it I was lucky if I got through one set of reps of each move, but each time I try now I can feel myself getting stronger and better. My main problem is trying to support my neck. Billy Blanks explains to you multiple times that you need to tuck your chin into your chest to support your neck and not strain it, but even that's difficult for me to do. I'm sure that like everything else it'll get easier and easier everytime I do it.I'd strongly recommend this DVD along with any of Billy Blanks other DVD's. He's a great instructor and is very motivational. I've read some reviews about "the annoying blonde" that he has in most of his videos. That's actually his daughter Shelly and I personally think she rocks! Not only is she in tip top shape, but she too is motivational and a source of inspiration.I've only had this DVD for a couple of weeks now. I'll try to post an update in a month or so with my progress.

Another great Tae Bo dvd
Now that he has done away with the props and gone back to basics I feel Mr. Blanks has had something of a comeback and this dvd falls in that category. It is 50:47 with warm-up for 3 minutes and then 27 minutes or cardio with ab focus and standing ab work moving on to 15 minutes ab work on floor and 5 cool down. This is not the calorie torcher of some of the other dvds but you will burn around 400 plus. (Will report how many I burned when I do it wearing my heart rate monitor.)The focus here is all on abs and proper form. Speaking of form, I think Mr. Banks is extremely underrated as an instructor due to his somewhat erratic counting of exercises and his tendency to talk to camera which is a shame since he is one of the best in the business. (He was born 9-1-1958 which means he was 55 when he filmed this - if that is not impressive I do not know what is.) His technique, instruction and big ole heart really shine in the dvd plus the bonus tutorial making this an excellent first stop for beginners and those new to Tae Bo. I have been taking in workout classes or doing fitness dvds for 35 years and I learned some new things in this dvd that really helped keep my abs engaged.Highly recommend to add to your fitness program to work core and abs.

Good for your Abs.
I got this DVD for Christmas 2010. I have the Bootcamp Abs and found it to be a good workout because you get to do standing ab exercises as well as those on the floor. This was going to be an even longer workout so I looked forward to the challenge.I love the new look with the different lighting and being in the dojo instead of the stage. Billy has some new attitude in this DVD and you really feel like he has you in mind as he goes through the work out. Lots of new faces too.Honestly, I never even noticed music once the workout started because Billy has you thinking about your abs the entire workout. The theme is to `Feel those abs working' and if you did it right the next day you felt them.Some of the exercises Billy repeats at a fast pace for "cardio" leave me in the dust because I don't have that kind of speed anymore. Still some of those types of exercises I was able to follow.I'm 53 years old and am in the process of getting back into shape after a couple years of falling apart when I hit 44.Recommended!

Great workout
I love this dvd. It took me about three works to not have to stop and take a break but after a while I was working out like the them on the dvd. Its a great workout. Would definitely purchase again.

Great twist on an ab workout
I love this workout. I’ve used Billy Blanks workouts for years. It’s fun and fast and you see results fast. I tried this work out on Comcast . I loved it so much I bought it. It’s easy, fast pace, and kinda fun. It’s a great variation to doing abs. It’s a hour long workout. However, I often only do the 20 minutes of it and feel like I got a good enough workout. I highly recommend.

You can see the difference after just a few insanely and intense ab workouts!
This workout is deeply insane! My abs cried out for mercy during the first workout by the second and third it got better but still intense. I used this workout on my week of vacation. When I returned to work people kept saying how much weight I loss; I did not lose weight in this matter of time, but apparently toned up enough to make a noticeable difference. I thought I could see a change but did not want to believe if! Now, I believe it since others have made comments without me sharing that I started a workout for my abs. Amazing!

Be insane.
Stick with this and you can look just like those swanky models we see in the videos. The level of encouragement is right and the work out itself is challenging enough to stay with this DVD for some time to get you to your goal and then to maintain it.The nice thing about this workout is that it will not injure you due to impact or overwork a single area. If you are still new to the workout regimen on this DVD, you can still do the exercises and just take it easier than the nutty super-humans therein and gradually get up to speed at your own pace.

Burn those abs out
Yeah, it's old school and kinda cheesy but it works.I used to teach tae kwon do and was off my workout schedule for years. Now that I have time to work out again I was looking for something easier on the joints that could be done in a small space.Eat right, do it 3 days a week. ( I do body weight exercises the off days) i dropped 20 lbs the first two weeks then started gaining muscle again.Had a decent six pack in about 10weeks.4 months I have enough abs for 3 peopleAll you have have is willpower.

Great workout some of the pounds dropped off after a few days. Hard workout but with a very good trainer.

Awesome Core Workout
I'm so impressed by how well Billy combines cardio with abs. I was expecting this workout to be completely slow paced, but it isn't. It might not be quite as fast paced as some of his pure cardio workouts, but I still worked up a good sweat. My abs always feel well worked after this workout. It's great.

Excellent Exercise to do
I burned a lot of calories with it, It's an excellent video hard, and well explained.You can do it to reduce your dimensions at the waist. It's perfect. Thanks to Billy and his team.

Great DVD
I love that you keep old as well as current DVDs. Billy Blanks was one of my favourites back in the day and it was so nice to get it for such a great price and to try this new workout.

Great workout, not for beginners
Fantastic workout, will get your abs in shape fast! Also works great on strengthening the entire core including the back. I have much less back pain and and my sciatica is going away. If you are a beginner, get something like the cardio video first to get your skills up.
