Color:Black The PP4100 Percussion Plus Drum Set is a complete, all-in-one outfit that comes with everything needed to start playing drums immediately. The new kit features smaller "quick-size" toms that produce a clear, focused tone. The shorter depth also allows the toms to be positioned lower overall, making it easier to play and more comfortable for younger players. Also featured are upgraded bass drum spurs, a matching wood snare drum and Remo drum heads.

Overpriced
I purchased this drum set in 2016 for $299. Very basic drum set; pedal didn't work. I see the same drumset is now priced at just over $500! Don't waste your money on this drumset --way overcharged.

Only a partial set
I only received a partial set. Requested a replacement and received the same partial set. Disappointing.

Good value, but you will need better cymbals.
I know nothing about drums, but am now starting to learn because of this set. I got this set for Christmas for my kids. It came in two big boxes. The instructions were terrible but it was still pretty intuitive to assemble at 11pm on Christmas Eve even after several glasses of wine. The kids love it!I've been learning to drum myself since we got the kit. Here's what I've come up with. The drums are legit. They have remo heads (probably the cheapest remo makes, but still.) The hardware seems pretty good. Not top quality, but functional and seems durable enough. I had a drummer friend help me tune the drums and he said they were decent for the money, but he had to do tricks with duct tape on the heads to get the drums from buzzing a little. Overall though, for someone just learning you can get a decent sound from each of the drums. Now the bad: the cymbals are a joke. I don't know what they are made of, maybe tin or something? They both immediately dented and warped. The crash cymbal sounds like hitting a wok with a wooden spoon. The hihat dented so bad it wouldn't close. I mean bad. The metal is so soft when you tap the same spot on the hihat for a few minutes you deform both the top and bottom together and you can actually sort of dent it back closed again LOL. And the sound is obviously a joke. The verdict is it's a good starter set, and it's nice even if the cymbals are junk you get the stands and hihat pedal and everything. But you will absolutely need a new set of cymbals within a couple weeks of actually wanting to play the drums.
