I have 4 and bought 1 more.
I discovered the Berkely AMP fishing rod line at a fishing show two years ago. The 2-piece 6'6" rod was on sale, and I was going to Arkansas for my yearly fishing trip. The rod exceeded my expectations. I caught large Bream and Crappie using it, while my other brand (Kastking) broke. The AMP rod handled everything. When I returned home, I ordered three more. I also plan to buy a 7'0" 2-piece rod from AMP. In my experience, these are the best rods I have come across. They are usually priced under $50.00 and perform as well as, if not better than, more expensive options. These rods are great for beginners and seasoned professionals alike.

Poor tip, great rod
Had to replace the tip pretty quickly on two of these rods, there is a small metal ring inside the factory tip that fell out when used with braid. Instead of going through the hassle of sending it in for warranty work, I spent $1.50 at academy for the replacement tip. To remove the old glue holding the tip on, just use a lighter to heat the glue and it opens itself up for easy removal.On one of my casting reels I had to shim the reel seat ti remove a little play.

Good rod, cheap price.
Bought these for kayak fishing. They are cheap but build quality is fine. Both parts of the rod float which is nice. Pretty happy with these cheap rods. Will purchase more later on

Was sent a broken rod
My rod arrived broken. About 4" of the female end was broken off. And 1 of the guides bent and twisted, The piece wasn't in the box. So it was shipped broken. Very poor Quality control! I got a replacement and it arrived intact.I won't even get into the hoops and hurdles required to return the broken ,defective rod

Buy the blue (saltwater)
Hook stay catches line about every other cast. Just buy the blue one.

Super sensitive tip
Super sensitive tip. Even though it’s a medium, it felt uncomfortable too toss a 1/2 oz jig. It just seemed to heavy. Great for Senkos though!

Save your time and money, always has been a big berkley fan, not this time. Do they not test there products
