Will this support a 5d mark iv with a 70-200 f/4? how sturdy is the monopod mode?

I think it will hold the camera in a locked position but at that weight it'll be difficult to tilt and pan properly. As for the monopod mode same that would be too much weight.

Is this a half ball fluid head?

I dont know for sure if its a fluid head, but I know is pretty awesome, the best tripod I have ever seen. I am a filmmaker, and the head works pretty great. I was looking for a fluid one too, but this one worked for me, the head is constant and there is no crushing

Is there camera creep when you lock the pod?

Not sure what you mean, but I dont think so.
