Very good quality. We use it as a supplement (three large snow dogs we would have to refinance to feed them this exclusively lol) to the high quality food and they love it. I highly recommend it this food. Our Husky has a very sensitive stomach and this is one of the very few dry/freeze dried food he thrives on. Two thumbs up.

Love this brand. After a lot of label reading, and searching for good dog food, I found Vital Essentials. I use this flavor to food prep for my pups, along with many of their other varieties. No smell. No mess. No additives. Just good food/treats for dogs. So many pups die from cancer due to crap “food” from China or other unregulated places. Here is your answer. Your dog will thank you and live a longer, healthier life.

Dogs used to love it but it changed.

I had been buying the smaller bags of green tripe and after giving it much thought I thought this would save me money in the long run. I was spending $10 for 2.3 oz every month. I bought this thinking I'd have to replace it in 6-8 months, but now I'm not sure. The bits are larger than the one I was buying even though it's the same company. I grind it down into a powder and add it to my raw cat food. I actually do about 2x the amount, but because the pieces are larger it's lasted a lot longer than I was expecting. It's overall seems to be a good product. My cat loves it.I prefer the K9 brand, but cost comparison this is a much better choice.It is a better cost comparison, but these things are hard for even a dog to chew. I gave it to my friend's dog & she spit out. I had to do my best to break it down for her. I do grind them down for making cat food, but I almost burnt out my food processor doing so. Even afterwards I still have a lot that hasn't broken down. I'm considering going to a different brand. I just reached out to the company to give them my feed back. Honestly, my cat doesn't drink water alone so this is one thing I'll sprinkle into her water to make her interested. It's unfortunate I might not be able to consume the whole bag since they are difficult to break down.
