Sorry for this review but I bought one on sale today for $15 at CVS. It is OK car for the price I paid at the drug store CVS. I plan to change it to the 2.4 GHz remote. When the motor goes out, a faster one will take it's place. A 7.4, 2 cell 1000 Mah lipo should fit.Led lighting with receiver control. The tires need to be the soft type for off track racing. It seems hard to contact the Blue Hat Toy Company, So if you're into RC cars as a builder then you can have fun modifying this. Happy racing.

I found this RC in TJmaxx for 29.99. I already drove for like a week and it is still working. It is true that the battery sucks, but it is only 750 amh. I bought another battery with 2000 amh and it runs for at least 25 to 30 mins. That is true that the manufacturers should think about this product a little be more because the battery power is not enough. And also the kind of tires seems like plastic instead of rubber. The vehicle does not run in wood floor because of the tires are to slippery, but in my street it runs perfect. I think the motor does not have enough power to drive in grass. Also with the new battery at the beginning the car spins a lot, it is because of the tires (cheap quality). I love the style of this car, I personally will try to see if I can replace the motor for one with more power. One thing that I don't like is the charger because it does not tell you when it is fully charged, but if you did not buy the 2000 mah go to radio shack and get a combo battery and charger for 25 bucks they battery is 1600 mah good for at least 20 min play and the charger will tell you when the battery is charged

Just received it today for christmas, my wife thought that I would like it since I'm a r/c hobbyist. She paid close to nothing for it since she got it on sale, cut to the chase, this r/c is complete made in china crap. The battery, says to charge for 8 hours first, does not last more than 5 mins of play time, even on a 10 hour charge, it does not last more than 5 mins. The controls are getting glitchy, does not turn all the time when you want it to, when it does, it only does 1/2 turns, the wheel does not turn all the way. End result, piece of crap.Pros: Cheap on the price, cool designCons: Battery life, poorly assembled, controls are garbage, cheap materials

This car was a Christmas gift from a relative to my son. He was very excited to play with it.The car worked properly for about 2 minutes before the steering no longer functioned.Make no mistake this toy was well cared for in its short 2 minuet life cycle.Talk about a pile of garbage. These toy manufactures that produce and sell this crap need to be publicly flogged.Well that might be a little harsh but it's so frustrating to have a brand new toy stop operating with in 2 minuets.Do they not care about quality? That's rhetorical. They just put this 3 dollars worth of plastic gadgetry crap on the shelves for Christmas knowing that people will spend their hard earned 50 bucks for them not being any wiser until after Christmas....when they've cleaned up all the boxes.....and threw them away. Can't wait till next year!!

This is one of the most terrible toys my son has ever received. Someone purchased it and paid to have it shipped to him for Christmas, and he was SO excited! The front wheels don't turn at all, the gears get stuck and grind and lock up the wheels every couple minutes, and it doesn't hold the charge for longer than that, even though it was plugged in for 24 hours. The antenna snapped in half when he was merely pushing it (straight!) back in to retract it for storage. He tried to take it outside and it wouldn't even drive over the grooves in the sidewalk! Its a very horrible toy. Send the kid (or adult) the cash instead of this junk. The only reason I gave it "One Star" is because I had to click on something, couldn't leave it blank!

Junk, charged battery for 8 hours then play at tye garage for 10 minutes...and that was it, I recharge the battery but the thing is completely dead

bought two of these cars for my kids this Christmas. Just as mentioned in the other reviews...this remote controlled car is a piece of crap! We charged the batteries overnight and the car didnt last more than 5 minutes. Also, right before my sons car died, it quit turning right and would only make left hand turns. It also started going slower forward then backward. Recharged the batteries for another 8 hours and it did not make a difference. The r/c cars kept getting worse. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM....YOU WILL ONLY CONTINUE TO DISSAPOINT THE CHILDREN!!!

My son received this car from his grandfather for Christmas. The other reviews are accurate. The battery does not hold much of a charge. It can't drive on anything but smooth flat surfaces, forget about grass. The antenna on the controller snapped. The steering on the controller also broke. And all this after just one day.
