Overall, this is a great addition to my toddler's larger train set. Decent price (was around $15 at time of purchase), quick shipping, and fits with our existing tracks. There were a few issues:1. Some of the pieces were one sided instead of having track indentations on both sides, which is confusing to my 2 year old when putting together. I'm not sure why all of them were dual sided OR single sided.2. Tracks smelled SO bad, like perfume or something was stored next to or spilled all over the tracks. It was on tracks, not the shipping box, and smelled for days. Finally aired out after a few days, but still gross.

Very good addition to our other wooden train tracks. You can never have too many basic curves and straight pieces. This is one of the best values we could find on Amazon: doesn't come with any especially exciting pieces, but to be honest we have tried the off-brand switches, and we went straight back to  Brio Expansion Pack Intermediate : nothing ever derails on our Brio switches. Ergo: no crying toddlers.But I cry every time I buy Brio: not so for these. Great price, great value! Curves are double sided, straights are not (and need not be). All connectors are wooden: no glued pegs.I would post a photo, but honestly, these have blended into the sea of other tracks, and I'm not sure I could separate them out at this point. The bulk of our tracks originated from Carl the Conductor branded set and I find that the quality of their tracks is excellent despite the affordable price point. These are compatible with Brio, Thomas the Train and Melissa and Doug wooden tracks and this bundle is an excellent addition to a basic set. Especially valuable are the straight tracks in 2 sizes and the shorter curved pieces as they help to add complexity to track design and help join challenging layouts. My two year old is obsessed with trains and he makes an fun new layout every day with our help. The wood is quality hardwood and the joints are precision cut and clean edged. I've seen individual packs sell for 6-8 each, so this is a great deal for a bundle and Amazon fulfillment.

I purchased this for my 2 year old grandson and it was very easy to assemble. Just connect the wooden pieces, place your train on the newly formed tracks, and watch the excitement and joy! My grandson played until he was tired, great buy!!

Love this train. I bought it for my 3 year old grandson but haven’t given it to him yet but I know he’ll love it. Very durable and should be able to survive a toddler. Worth the money.
