We've come to rely on this brand/style for my sons in Taekwondo. The sizes are accurate according to the size chart and are similar to underwear sizes. We got this adult small for my 13 year old who has a lean, athletic build when he outgrew the youth XL.

My 10 year old soon struggled with the underwear style cups. Complained they were uncomfortable and could not run at full speed....so I went old school the the strap style! Problem solved...comfortable as can be no complaint what so ever....go fot it if others dont work for your kid

I train mma15-20 hours a week,nothing beats this, compression shorts are nice but they just dont support your nuts like these things do, the quality is obviously top notch when you take them out of the package.

I bought a couple of different ones to help my guys out... this is the only one I can wear that doesn't hurt or chafe me. I'm buying another.

Bought this as a replacement for my old jock that was falling apart. I ordered a small. It feels a little tight in the waist (I probably have about a 29 inch waist), and when I wear it in conjunction with my sliding shorts, it is on the brink of uncomfortable. Between those two items squeezing my stomach and a little bit of nerves, it makes me fart the entire game. Anyways, I digress...long story short, I would say that it runs a bit small. It has a cup pouch, but does not come with a cup. Which in my case was what I was looking for, as I was just going to use my old cup and save a few dollars. My old cup fits in the pouch okay, but the top sticks out a little bit, so I am assuming it has a smaller pouch than I had before. It holds the cup in place fine though. As far as the quality, it seems well made, and after one fall season, is still in fine shape.

Those sliding shorts with built in cup do not keep the cup from moving around. Bought these for my son and he says they corrected that issue and he is super pleased with the purchase
