Better than everything else
Take a look at the gun cleaning patches on here and you'll a lot of reviews complaining out fraying and lint. These ones by bore smith do not have that issue. I have used these on an AR 15 chambered in .223 cal /5.56 mm and 6.5 grendel. On .223, it's perfect. It gives a slight bit of resistance which is what you want to make sure it's touching all sides of the bore. On 6.5 grendel, it's a little looser and less resistance. It still works just fine, but you may want to step up to BoreSmith Triangle Patches, Cal 27 thru 35 for 6.5mm and above. Yes, I know 27 caliber is a tad larger than 6.5mm, but I imagine it would still work just fine.So why again are these so great? I think it's the way they're cut in a triangle shape. They don't get stuck and they slide down the bore without having to put excessive pressure on your cleaning rod.For reference, I'm using:Tipton Deluxe 1-Piece Carbon Fiber Cleaning Rod 22-26 Cal. 36", retail pkTipton Ultra Jag SetTipton 13 Piece Rifle Bore Brush Set NylonPossom Hollow Bore Guide

Perfect Size & Just Enough Resistance to Clean Well
I picked these up after getting tired of cutting standard squares down to do initial bore cleaning on my ARs. These really fill a niche quite nicely in that they slide easily down a .22/.223 bore with just enough contact to clean along the way - without having to bend your cleaning rods to force them out the muzzle. You can give them an extra wrap before pushing them through the chamber if you want a tighter fit.It seems everyone cleans in their own way of getting the job done, but here's how I do it:1. Completely fill the chamber and 1st few inches of the bore with Ballistol foam.2. Push one of these triangle patches, fitted loosely to a spear jag, down the length of the bore to spread the solvent through the entire barrel.3. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes to break down the carbon.4. Start pushing these triangle patches through the bore, chamber to muzzle, until they start to come out clean. A cleaning after 500 rounds will take 5-10 patches before they start coming out clean.5. Finish cleaning the chamber (this is a whole different checklist).6. 2 or 3 passes with a clean bore snake with Hoppe's or your oil of choice at the tail. The above gets a black-glass mirror-finish bore every time. YMMV but that's how I like to do it!

Best patches for Your rifle - These patches Work Great.
I have tried them all. These are simply the best patches I have seen or tried. These things work consistently and do not bind up. I just finished a two day benchrest match and I am ordering more of them. You cannot go wrong. Price is roughly the same as other patches that give you headaches. Once you have tried them, you will be sold on them. My fellow competitors now use them. They give you a constant pressure when cleaning. They do not get hung up by doubling over. I will not use any other.Does not matter what caliber you shoot, get these patches for your rifle and you will throw away the others. I use them on my center fire rifles - from 5.56 to 308 to 45-70 - it works on all of them. Highly recommended.

Great patches
Was trying VFG pellets which worked very good. Problem is cost-about 5 cents per pellet. When shooting ARA matches this adds up fast. Tried these on friends recommendation and trying one of his patches and noticed pretty much same resistance as pellet. Costs much less and equally effective.

i was skeptical at first !!!
these are a nice tight bore fit in my .22's. they are actually great patches. i use them with a jag and am surprised at how well they clean the bores out. i will definitely buy more. the way they wrap around the jag gives you more cleaning surface then i thought they would. glad i gave them a try.

Updated Review
I no have the product at 5 stars. Besides the pieces of cardboard in the products bag and all the plastic stars from manufacturing process in the bag, these out clean all patches ever. I ordered their cleaning brush, yet ordered the Tipton Jag which works perfectly with these length-wise. This combination out cleans any other product on the market ever. 10/10
