I make and sell a lot of Mandala art, and the circle templates are super easy to use as guidelines to keep everything in line, evenly spaced and perfectly round. I black gesso rocks (many that I manufacture and pour myself with a fine gypsum cement and pour into molds) and use these templates as a guide. They work really well! Recommend! By the way, since I typically start with a black base, I use the Bohin white chalk mechanical pencil to trace with as the fine point works better for this surface than a normal General's white chalk pencil

I bought these to used to lay out mandala designs on stones. I knew it wouldn't be perfect because the stones are not flat. I looked for silicone but they seemed so expensive and I wasn't sure how it would work anyway. I may upgrade at some point. These work fine, but there's not really any grip so they are prone to sliding around a bit and sometimes i don't notice until I'm done tracing.
