Two feature electric stapler fulfills its promise
I was uncertain if this version of the electric stapler could handle the duel functions of stapling and shooting brads. It can with a slight restriction. The stapler loads easily (either staples or brads) and fires each nicely. Note, the safety feature which prevents one from stapling your fingers or hands is a bit awkward in that you must be full down and flat for the stapler to fire. This takes a bit of getting used to but is a nice feature, none the less. Obviously a duel function stapler can not fire long brads into hard wood. The maximum rated brad length is 5/8" which limits its overall function but is very useful for temporary placing materials before using longer nails or brads or glue. There is a useful + or - setting for power, but I recommend firm pressure in either case.

Worked well for what I needed it for. Not heavy duty medium light duty
Worked great to install Zip up attic insulation. Soon as I was done it jammed and I can't get it to work again. But I'm sure I could get it to work if I tried. I like that it's electric.

Minimal power, no different than others
I did lots of research before buying this since I have other manual and electric brand staple guns. This one had lots of good reviews so I fell victim, knowing better than to trust these reviews. It would not drive 1/2 staples thru outdoor carpet into pine 2x4. They only went in 1/2 way and or bent. Tried other staples, same results. You have to hammer / bend over the staples then. I went to Stanley web site to look up this stapler. Much to my surprise almost all the reviews are 1 or NEGATIVE. Again this is on their own web site. It is awful how these reviews are so easily influenced. If you need a good gun, they only way to go is air / pneumatic where you have 80psi air pressure. All these electric guns use a simple solenoid hammer and no one has any "extra" strong or unique power design.Maybe ok for simple light home projects, putting up signs, but do not buy thinking it is going to give you power. Also seems quite cheap, light weight. Stanley web site also talk about it breaking shortly into its life.Last but not least it has gotten to be a pattern where Stanley is riding on a old good brand name with making crap, cheap stuff out of china.

Load from bottom
Load staples from the bottom points up. This is different from other trailers I have owned. Like the lifetime warranty tho

Super easy to use!
After many years my old Stanley quit working. So glad I replaced it with another Stanley! Easy to load the staples and not too heavy to hold. Very pleased!

Not Enough Power
Very disappointed. I bought this stapler to attach hardware cloth to soft pine for my chicken coop. It does not have sufficient power to drive a 9/16 staple into a pine 2x4. They only go in about half way. Contrast this to my Stanley hand powered staple gun which will drive a 5/8 inch (larger) staple flush into a 2x4. I would think an electric gun would have more power than a hand powered gun, but that is not the case. It does work, and may be better for those will little strength in their hands, but if you can use a hand stapler, then that would be a better choice. 3 stars only because it kind of works.
