Q: is the saw sharpened rip cut or crosscut?

I use mine both ways with good results, but predominantly for cross cutting. The stiffener on the back pretty much limits use for ripping. Not to disagree with Old Sailor who probably has better eyes, but under my magnifying lamp it really appears to be a ripcut with no set. Whichever, they are very good and useful saws. I have been using them for 35 or 40 years.

Q: Does this work well on cutting doll house moldings?

It works beautifully on any small projects such as doll house moldings. It is fine cut and leaves a smooth finish.

Q: What is the thickness of the blade

The ".010 - inch kerf" is your answer.

Q: Can this be used to flush cut?

It's not a true flush cutting saw but depending on the specific position of the cut it will get very close to a flush cut. I think Zona saws are great generally better than xacto. There are true flush cutting saws available.
