Always reliable
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. It is so much cheaper and easier having a wired keyboard. I can simply plug this into my computer and it will always work. I had the wireless keyboard, battery ran out constantly. Even when i hardly used it. I had to remember to turn it off or keep replacing batteries No more worries , as sometimes wired is the right way to go for always working electronics! This keyboard is full size and nice. Silent typing and easy to press keys. Works seamlessly with my computer. Live the number pad on right as i’m used to that from work keyboard. This keyboard can tilt up with its legs if i choose for easier typing. a great price and great quality.

For people with a light touch
UPDATE: Changing my review to give others a heads-up. Hang in there if the space bar sticks. It finally worked itself out of the irritating sticky thing it did when I first bought it. I like the keyboard much better now. Upgrading my rating. This wired keyboard, (ordered on purpose) which I had for about a half hour, was irritating me a little. The space bar made a weird noise when I pressed it and I had to press it harder than the rest of the keys. The legs that raise the back of it up are too short for me, so the spacebar wasn't always registering on first push.Has a nice, soft touch to the keys, doesn't make that hideous clicking noise and I'm not struggling with repeat keys. The letter, P, actually works! It's a vast improvement over the old one. Now if I could only figure out how not to transpose letters (my bad!) and have to backspace a lot, I'd be in keyboard heaven 'bout now.Pic shows my new mouse, which I ordered as wireless. It's perfect - and it's pretty.

Basic keyboard, but few bumps for no-look finger placement
It's a basic keyboard, and as such it works very well. Keys depress easily, but not too easily. So far, nothing is sticking. The labels are nice and clear. There is a row of extra buttons at the top for volume up and down, mute, open the calculator or browser, etc - I got used to using these on my last keyboard so I'm glad this one has them too. Plug and play - worked fine out of the box.The biggest problem for me is those little tactile bumps on the F and J keys, to help you place your fingers without looking. My last keyboard had them on most of the different blocks - the arrow key foursome, the keypad, and the block of Home/End/PgUp/etc above the arrow key foursome. May even have had them on the F keys, come to think of it. Anyway, this keyboard has the bumps on the F and J and a much smaller one on the 5 in the keypad block, but that's it. I'm definitely making a few more mistakes as I mis-align my fingers to the bumpless keys.If you look at your fingers a lot, this may not be an issue for you. But if you have limited sight or work in a place with low light, or even if you just don't look at your fingers as you type, this may be something to take into consideration. But, for $20, it's a good little keyboard and I hope it lasts.

Fn Key Troubles
Perfect for my needs! Almost. I was looking for a basic wired keyboard that would be as silent as possible, as I share an office with my husband and the sound of constant typing is problematic when he's on calls. This is a fantastic solution for that. No complaints there. However, I didn't noticed that where the Windows key would usually be on the left, between Ctrl and Alt, is the Fn key. Probably not a huge deal for most people, but I am constantly using the Windows snipping tool via the keyboard shortcut, Win+Shift+S. I'll have to adjust to using 2 hands to do it now, hitting the right-side Windows key. That's my only complaint!

Not Quiet
This keyboard certainly does the job but it's definitely not quiet. I thought about returning it but would I end up with another one that claimed in it's description that it was quiet? The keyboard is laid out well so it fills the square. In my experience, the lettering on keyboards seems to wear out in a year or so and I know I'll be replacing it then - I'll cross my fingers I end up with something truly quiet next time. Another thing I'm not too wild about is the finish which is black but kind of has a brushed metal look to it. But, it's a keyboard and I can live with that.

It works
It works well for people with long nails and for video games. The fake metallic background finish isn’t as noticeable in person. The only potential negative is that the keys are a bit stiff but they aren’t too bad. (I got the wired keyboard)Update: I think I am going to return this. The keys are just a bit too stiff. Apparently I don’t use enough pressure when pressing the keys with my pinky’s. I’m frequently missing those letters as well as the space bar sometimes. Maybe if my nails weren’t longer I would be able to use enough force.

Slim, low p rofile keys, good response
For the price this is a good keyboard.I like low profile keys with a little resistance. I normally buy Kensington keyboards but they were out of stock so I gave this one a go for my non-work computer. It has a nice layout, although I don't like using an FN key to get to the function keys. The touch is a little softer than I'd prefer, hence only 4 stars. But, overall it's a nice little keyboard for the price. Much better than other cheap keyboards I've seen.

Solid Home Office Keyboard
I wanted something very simple for my home office set up as I often use my laptop on a stand. The wired keyboard gives me the flexibility to position my laptop wherever needed and still have easy access for typing. This keyboard is is plastic but has a brush aluminum look to it that I really like. The keys are quiet and low profile which is exactly what I was looking for.
