Help your to drive with travel nationwide
This one a good map for me to drive the nationwide. Compare the digital map, paper book is more accurate because of the digital one sometimes not working correct and the changes later lead to drive wrong way. The paper book one is very friendly for elder drivers. I used it to drive from North Carolina to Maryland via Virginia and Washington D.C..

I love maps
My family traveled across the country A LOT when we were all kids [7 of us]. We would pull in to get gas and 7 kids would grab 7 fold-up maps [free way back then, I'm 76 now]. We never asked, "Are we there yet?" We always asked, "Where are we now?" And thus a love of maps was started. We followed the road signs, read the Burma Shave signs, read the river names and the city limit signs. We read place names on the map [did you know there is a Bean Blossom, Indiana ?]. We learned how to figure out mileage using the legend and find county lines, railroad tracks, local, state, and national parks.I have a world atlas and my handy dandy Rand McNally. The world is my oyster!

Great resource
- Made in USA- Spiral is plastic but sturdyLove this. As a prepper, a good map is a must-have resource. I have various smaller ones for area and state but I wanted a full size, full country as well. This is the one I picked and glad of it.Clean and white base paper, as thick as normal. Front and back covers are thicker and more sturdy.Print and colors are clean and easy to read.State phone #s for various types of travel info are included in the margins of each state.Includes an index of cities or places to go.Also includes a full country page that has mileage in sections from city to city. That's funGood stuff.Don't forget to use the Smile.Amazon.com address - It's an Amazon program where many everyday things you buy will generate a small donation from Amazon to the charity of your choice at no cost to you. A Blessing in the Mountains
We love this size, we bought the book because we wanted to be able to have an overview of the portion of the state we were in. As it turned out, it was essential because you lose your cell phone signal in the mountains. Plus, I think maps are really fun. Great for a car trip. Recommended!

So easy to use!
I love the spiral binding and the large size of this atlas - it's so easy to use! My only wish is that the large states which are shown on 2 or 4 pages would be divided on some other route than the one I want to take. Oh well, it's still great.

Zu groß für den normalen Reisenden
Inhaltlich hervorragend, nur ist das Format zu groß, zu unhandlich. Besonders, wenn man mit dem Flugzeug anreist.

Love this Road Atlas
I'm in the UK and not likely to visit the USA. I bought this atlas so I could follow where the many books I read that are based in America take place. It is brilliantly detailed. Initially I wanted to trace the route of the pioneers in the 1840's as detailed towards the end of the book The Indifferent Stars Above. This atlas (though it obviously doesn't show their original trail) gives the current location of their ordeal.

Larger than expected
I bought this for my road trip in the US just as a fall back plan in case I was in an area without cell service.I was quite shocked when I got the atlas today because of its shear size! I know it said “large scale” but I thought that meant the maps. Nope! :D the whole thing is about the size of an A3 sheet of paper.BUT: the maps are really good for what I have in mind for my road trip. Cities themselves are not very detailed but I would assume there will be cell service and therefore google maps or something like it.Definitely keeping it :)
