This is a excellent quality DVD

Classic movie

But, I really don't think that they applied any much effort in the remastering of this film for Blu-ray. I have my share of grainy looking Blu-Ray discs, but they were much older than this one.Perhaps this film was just a low budget effort at the time because for a film that had a lot of music, it was still only released in mono. Heck, not even two channel stereo. From 1984, that's pretty weak. Don't you think?I've had the DVD for many years and I actually think that it still looks better than this Blu-ray. Perhaps the DVD is a little muddier (having a slight, but expected, soft blurring, so to speak) and perhaps that made it look less grainy.Anyway, we can not help but to want to constantly keep replacing our DVD's with Blu-ray's, but I'm gonna keep my DVD of Bachelor Party because on my smaller 32" TV, it looks better than the Blu-ray does on my 60" TV.I liked the picture on the cover of the DVD better also.

This was a great addition to my Tom Hanks collection of DVDs.Recommended

Some comedies don't hold up well. This one did better than expected.

Great preview into the comedian Tom Hanks is before he became, 'cultured'. I love the sheer playful and good time attitude throughout the movie! just good fun throughout that reminds me of 80's rock and roll band music video and concerts! I was laughing from beginning to the end credits. A must-see for those who love to watch a good-ole time take place!

You can't make movies like this anymore so many triggers lol. I love this movie it's so 80s and hilarious.

This movie has all the star talent, and lots of awesome bands on the soundtrack. There are funny parts and technically some boobies. I do think the party 🥳 is epic. Unfortunately I regret buying it... It's technically a chick flick. They should have called it Bachelorette Party because they go to a male strip club. The director admits he wanted it to be a love story in the interview. They never go to a strip club with ladies. You could say that I am upset 😡 that for all the huge money budget this sex comedy had it fails to deliver. My favorite sex comedies are Screwballs 1 and 2, Private School, Hot Dog, Zapped, Up the Creek, Hardbodies, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Pacific Banana, Weird Science, School Spirit, The Last American Virgin, Spring Break, Fraternity Vacation, Private Resort, Hot Resort, Animal House, Blame It On Rio, Hot T Shirts, The Party Animal except for the N word scene, and One Night Only except for the cousin part.

Una película de las mejores que he visto por mucho en particular supera comedias hechas del 2000 en adelante lo mejor de todo viene con extras habladas en inglés y sin subtítulos la película viene en idioma inglés y español pero español latino y eso me puso más feliz porque me hizo recordar Cuando la vi por primera vez si te quieres divertir y pasar un buen rato Esta es una buena opción y el precio es inmejorable porque es bluray

Esta pelicula al vi cuando la estrenaron en el cine, y no pare de reir aun despues de varios dias al recordar las escenas mas graciosas.En blu-ray se ve aun mucho mejor

One of Tom Hanks' earliest and funniest films that harks back to the madcap comedies of the past. The sort 'they don't make anymore', it's strictly adult humour, so not one for the kiddies.

So pleased I managed to find this DVD, it's definitely a reminder from old and it's just as funny as I hoped it would be. Just confirms what a great and diverse actor Tom Hanks is.

Bit of a slow starter but very funny once it gets going. Basically a Tom Hanks love story where all his partying friends are trying it on with all and sundry so lots of flesh on show. Tom stays true to his love path despite the efforts of others to derail him. Adult humour but by todays standard not too bad. This film takes the word "party" to a new level with some hilarious concequences.
