This amp produces very clean sound for my mid and highs. Very configurable for different applications and easy to install.

Some have said this amplifier had problems or issues with design or build, but I'm here to dispute that claim.I now own 3 Audio Control amplifiers, and one DSP, the DM-810. Two LC 6-1200 and one LC 1-1500. I just upgraded my fronts and rears to Morel Elate Carbon Pro 63A, with two 12" Rockford Fosgate TW1's. Sony XAV-9000 ES head unit. All interconnects are Worlds Best Cable Mogami interconnects. I installed and tuned everything myself.This is a complicated amplifier, yes. It has Linkwitz-Riley crossovers for all channels, and channel summing for all channels as well. 1-2 for high, 3-4 for bandpass OR high or low pass, and 5-6 for low pass. If you do not know how to set an active crossover, do your homework.These amplifiers also have MILC detection, which tells you when each channel is maxed out, and beginning to clip. Important for anyone that wants to listen at high volume without distortion, and especially while tuning your input and output levels and gains.These amplifiers also have a 5 YEAR WARRANTY. Register your amplifier online, and they will repair or replace components inside, or replace the amplifier. They are "designed" in America, and fixed and repaired in America. Much like your Apple phone. Just better.These are priced according to the quality of the components internally, as well as the technical design. If you want to pay for Walmart quality components and design, get a Walmrt amplifier. When you're ready for a professional, high quality, high-end amplifier, get one of these. You will not be disappointed.

Power and clean sound signal

Not new, been used. Dont buy off this dude, scammer.

Upon first installing so many problems. Let's count them.1.) The inputs for the speaker wires require a screwdriver smaller than I've ever seen. So I had to buy one. And having installed 4 amps to date with a very extensive collection of tools.2.) Even with the screw driver the clips I tightened down barely hold the wires in place. They keep coming out with very little pull.3.) The wire inputs are barely big enough for 12 Guage wire.4.) All the RCA plug ins were loose. One won't receive a signal. 2 of them make hissing noises. And three of them play multiple speakers even with only one RCA plugged in.5.) The removable inserts you plug the wires into are all super loose.6.) Sound quality socks.7.) The watts must be varying as the sound levels aren't consistent.8.) The manual is very confusing with install directions. It doesn't say what the codes mean specifically. I'm having dc offset codes pop up and can't find out anywhere why without much electrical testing.9.) The top cover covers the whole amp and can't be removed or installed with the metal bands in place I bolt my amps to the body with for security.10.) Front speakers cut completely off when acubase is turned on. And rear speakers reduced volume so much I couldn't hear it even with head unit turned all the way up.11.) Why the hell does this thing have direct speaker wire plug ins that are used if not using rca hookups? What is the point of running all that speaker wire instead of RCA wires.12.) All the connections are marked backwards on the reading from top down. I had to switch rca cables around to figure out the right plugs.Eat, ect, ect.Mind you I bought this amp to replace a JL audio because I heard I could get a better amp for less money. And these got good reviews.But what I realized is if they offer a warranty its because the product is crap.

I had this installed as part of a package by a local shop that deals in Audio Control. I needed an amp with a line-out converter because my car's factory head unit does not have line out. The shop that did the install delivered the car with Accu-Bass on for both the front and rear (because it does make the system "pop" more, presumably). I called Audio Control about the hiss, and the technician I spoke with said Accu-Bass should not cause a hiss, and that I should re-stage gains to fix, which I did, but had no impact on the hiss. ANYWAY-- I turned Accu-Bass off to get rid off the hiss, and it turns out I still get plenty of bass, and am happy. But I don't trust this amp and will not buy products from Audio Control in the future.Other complaints:- The top cover is annoying to take on and off.- The little switches are extremely hard to manipulate and the plastic is of poor quality. I sheared the plastic knob off a switch with just a flathead bit in my hand. For this money, this is unacceptable use of poor materials.
