Beautiful, light weight, stays in place
Love how beautiful this looks AND it stayed on my head through Holy Mass without pins or having to constantly adjust it.

Beautiful
The veil is as pictured. I ordered the black with the “sheer”foundation. The black flowers are velvet which adds to the beauty of it in my opinion. It is slightly smaller than I had imagined but I also have very long hair. The one I chose is triangular in shape and in the packaging there was bobby pins and a “sew on clip included for use with the veil. I typically like to sew the clip on, but due to the sheer color on this veil I may not have a spot to “hide” it. I am not a huge fan of things hanging off my veils but it doesn’t bother me to the extent of cutting them off. My daughter and I veil for mass and this is a nice subtle addition to my original one that can be used in coordination with more color options in closet. The only word of caution I’ll extend is that it is very slightly stiffer than my other veil. Just enough to notice but not impact its use in any way.I’m very happy with my purchase!

WOW, Exquisitely Beautiful!!
I wanted a beautiful veil for my prayer time, especially when I say the rosary, and I found this veil. It arrived promptly. It comes in a lovely plastic storing package, if you wish to store the veil that way. There are also complimentary hair pins. I'm sure this would be useful for attending a chapel or church and on a windy day. And the veil - it brought tears to my eyes and reminded me my Norwegian grandmother was a master lace maker. This veil is a gift to the heart - it is so exquisitely beautiful in every detail. It's perfectly made - I am a craftswoman myself. The lace is of the highest quality. There are beads that glint in the flower sections. It's beautifully finished on the edges. Even now I get teary describing it. If you are a devout praying person as I am, of any faith, I wholeheartedly recommend this veil. If you say the rosary, I know it deeply honours the Virgin Mary. Truly, a keepsake to be handed down for generations.

I was skeptical, but admittedly I don't even want to take it off now
First: sorry, I knocked off a star for the lack of a sewn in hairclip. I'm not sure HOW you'd sew even the smallest hairclip into the (mesh-like?) fabric, so I'll be using purposefully puffy hairstyles (I have long straight hair) or a spritz of dry shampoo so I can "hide" the bobby pin I'm going to use.HOWEVER, that said and 4-stars, it looks and feels great. It's lightweight, but there's some heaviness to the long front sides due to the crocheted lace "weight", and if you're not running around, it MAY stay on even slippery hair. I honestly didn't think I'd like it, but I love it! 🙇♀️ The black one I'm replacing (a family heirloom I can't find) was definitely demure, and sized better (a lot shorter in the front, longer in the back compared to this one: a triangle mantilla), and it had the sewn-in clip, and I love it as well and hope I find it. BUT THIS?! With the glitter ?! —I'm not sure how long it'll last (not long if you try to sew something into the "fabric", and you'll want a bag to protect it because I doubt it would hold up in even just summer heat or rain), but it simply makes me feel like I'm part of the Church). Like God approves of me praying. (Probably not of this glowing review when I should be doing other things.)But it's like my sacramentals: as stupid as it may sound, you sort of "feel" like you're living up to the One Catholic Faith (the traditional one, before the clown Freemasons infiltrated the buildings). It's not "tiara"-like beauty queen whatever; it's just that you can see the flowers on either side even when it's resting inches away from your hairline, and IT'S SO INEXPENSIVE! Everyone knows what the "good" veils/mantillas cost, and (for me), you sort of feel guilty for wearing them. So that alone makes me smile: if someone looks like they want it and they're clearly needy, I can rip it off and give it to them, and Deo volente I can buy another! The "sparkle" is JUST enough to not draw the "wrong" kind of attention at Mass or Adoration, but rather add to the beauty of the Church Militant. Veils are supposed to set you apart from the world, and help you focus on the Church instead of fretting about your veil or your hair &c. and this one should offend nobody and help you keep properly focused on the One Living God Triune! Deo Gratias whoever made this veil (but really, a teensy hair clip sewn in would help).
