Elenco CM1555 Digital Capacitance Meter

For the 60-odd dollars I paid, the Elenco CM-1555 is good value for money. I compared capacitance readings on this meter against my more expensive Fluke 115 and the Elenco was bang-on every time. It also has the advantage of being able to accurately read small cap values down to 100pf (which is well below the range of the Fluke). Typical of cheaper grey market test products, this meter comes with a puny set of test probes that should be replaced with some better ones. With that one caveat aside, I would recommend this meter as a decent unit for light to medium electronics use.

Love this capacitance meter. Very easy to read and accurate.
