Best Over-the-air antenna
I've tried other antennas for direct over-the-air TV broadcast, this has the best reception. Put it near a window. Line of sight is best if you can do it. I get signals from about 25-30 miles.

Absolutely Floored by this Product!
I have to say, after trying numerous passive and amplified low-cost solutions, I was really skeptical about this product. But for the price I decided to take a chance. On the specific TV I needed this for, I have been lucky to get one or two channels come in (and even those were choppy and would freeze often). I plugged this product in, and it almost floored me! I get all of my local area channels without any freezing up or choppiness. All I did was rescan for channels on my TV, and what a difference. I cut the cord almost two years ago, and haven't looked back. But this device is by far the best solution I have found to date.

works as it should. not expecting miracles.
It works fine. Digital antennas are a crap shoot no matter what they tell you about strength, distance etc. Fact is, your location, sightlines, other signals that are out there, airplanes etc. all effect how well these things work. This one works for me better than the ClearStream Ellipse. I'm happy with it. Not crazy about how the thing was packed and shipped. Could've been better protected. If it hadn't worked, I would've sent it back as damaged in shipping.

Defective Don't Buy TERK Antenna
This item came to me defective. Not sure if the power supply was working or not but no matter where i put it near a window or far from one it never picked up any channels. I tried it with power plug or used the bypass method without power and got the same negative results. I found an older rabbit ears antenna and connected that up to the TV and it picked up 14 channels over the air. So, with that proof i have determined this product to be defective in every way. Reason i chose to get it is because many websites reviews recommended it. No stars for value or picture. Yes it is easy to setup. Quality of product is cheap and feels of low quality plastic plus it's very lightweight.

Not the best choice.
I'm 15 miles from the TV towers and this works the same with or without the amplifier. Not even sure the amplifier is working, it doesn't have a power light like other ones I have. If you put it in an interior room the walls block most of the signals. If you can put it near a window on the side of the house facing the direction of the TV stations you can pick up most channels, not very good on picking up VHF at all, most HD is on UHF but in my area there are 2 stations NBC and ABC that use VHF so I can't get ABC at all. I got this for $9 so I can't complain too much. But if I paid more, I would be returning it. I think if you want a good indoor HD antenna that there are several better options for under $20, the 1byone is a very good choice. I cut the cord in 2009 and have tried several indoor and outdoor antenna, and if you can do it get an outdoor antenna.

Worth every penny!
I've tried the flat panel antennas and they can't compare to this one. My location between two metropolitan cities with Philly at 50 miles away and NYC at 45 miles away puts me at the edge of each cities broadcast range. The TERK pulls in stations with extreme clarity. It also pulls in channels on our Samsung tv that are listed in the 1000+ zone with Hd quality such as ABC news NBC news, and even AMC, + dozens more. Completely satisfied with this purchase.

Don't Bother, Not worth it!
This "Antenna" was a waste of money. It performed worse than a stick on the wall antenna. I am 25 mi away from my local stations and I got none of my local stations. The amp was a little better, by that I mean I would get signal popping in and out. Very disappointing performance. as far as the previous reviewer who suggested that they didn't re-scan is way off base. This test I was just looking for performance vs my other antenna, and it failed miserably

the best investment
Easy to install and use.I bought it because I needed to ammomify my signal inside the house and I am more than happy, when I had the one from the cable company it was a nightmare because it always dropped or there was a problem, but with this one I never had a problem and it is the one I have used for over 3 years
