I have long hair to my waist and have had the majority of my 60+ years. It's thick and heavy and I have tried numerous hair accessories in either hair decor or simply putting it up for hot days and these are the best thing I have tried. They are durable and being clear, they go with anything. They hold my hair in place all day without having to keep re-postitioning them. I have to admit that I thought I was buying the tiny clips that I needed for the new growth short hairs and I didn't read the size noted but when these larger clips came and I tried them on the bulk of my hair twisted in a bun and they held my hair better than anything I had ever tried in the past, I was so grateful for my mistake. I will keep these in my stock forever now! They are definitely worth the money!!!

Sort of have mixed feelings about these. The other reviews are accurate in that they are very hard to open. The spring is very strong. On the other hand, they hold the hair fantastic and the plastic is very thick and sturdy. It’s probably only a problem if you have arthritis or hand weakness of some type.

I have white hair and always looking for clear or white clips, which are hard to find. Only reason I did not give them 5 stars is because they are a bit hard to open using one hand and hoping they loosen up as I use them. Heavier plastic so they should last a long time without “teeth” breaking. I recommend these clips.

Exactly as described and just what I needed for my hair

Generally, after having purchased octopus style hair clips for a couple decades now, the most common problem with the smaller ones, like these, is that their springs are too weak, and they don't grip hard enough.THESE? They are tough enough to last quite some time, I am sure.But their springs are too strong, they are too tight for me (61 with arthritis in hands) or my 9 year old granddaughter (whom they are for) to open the clips!Sadly, I'm sending them back. But for older teens or adults with good hand strength, these are probably the best value for money and clips that stay put.

These clips are great for extra help with buns, I have thick hair and need a little extra. I love the shape of these clips. I have a couple large ones that I love as well.

These are very sturdy!! I bought some a few years ago and ordered them again. Not because they broke but because I either let someone borrow some and I never got them back or I lost them. I don’t think I’ve even had one break and they get used daily.
