I grind off kickstand springs often when cornering and sometimes they just stretch out. There are higher quality ones that will last longer but when it comes to grinding them off they all last about the same amount of time. This is a hell of a deal for two springs and I really don't care what color they are since they're under the bike. If you're a wild hog or Starbucks cruiser then maybe you care about the color but for me it just holds the kick stand up and I'm happy with that.

Installed the black one. it broke 1 mile from house. Jiffy stand started to skip on ground as I down the road. Had to turn around and come home with jiffy stand skipping. Total crap. DO NOT BUY.

I didn’t read close enough to see the dems are different for the two. So I was able to use the shorter of the two. The tension is a little lighter but it holds jiffy stand up and dosnt slap around. Good for price.

I bought these as a backup and needed one for my brother while out on a ride, great value for the money and are super easy to install.

These products were absolute garbage I installed both springs to the specifications Harley recomends, the first spring(black) stretched immediately and won’t hold the kickstand secure to the frame and eventually just falls out due to how poorly made the product was so I just decided to install spring number 2 (chrome) went to install the spring and one of the ends of the spring completely separated and almost struck me in the face, 100% do not recommend you are wasting your safety, time and money

Claims it fits 2013 fxdc. It does not. It is far too long

Replaced my kickstand spring the new one is perfect

I installed the chrome spring and it just barely holds the stand against the frame rail. It’s not as strong as OEM spring.
