So Very Sad..
So Very Sad. I moved to the Fort Myers area in 2001 from MI and immediately started renting boats before buying my first boat around 2005. I don’t remember when I first discovered author Ed Robinson and read his first “Breeze” book. But I do remember what joy it was to read about someone who had and still was boating in the same area’s that I had been and still was and weighting books about the area. Ed became my favorite author and also several of my friends here at Del Tura C.C. I so enjoyed his references to the same Islands, bays, bars/restaurants that I had discovered in the Ft Myers Beach, Sanibel Island, Pine Island, Cayo Costco and Peace river areas. I might have even spied his first boat as I had docked several times in area’s he mentioned in his books. My friends and I hearts go out to his beautiful wife. I very kind regards go to Wayne Stinnett for helping Ed’s wife with the face book memorial page and finishing Ed’s last book. Wayne is noted for having a very kind heart in helping many new struggling authors get started writhing Indie Kindle books. Wayne is also a favorite author of mine. At my advanced age (80), you never know that when you say good by to a north bound from FL friend. It may be the last time that you ever see each other. As when you read a kindle book from a favorite author such as Ed Robinson... May God bless and keep you at his side Ed.

One of the Best Boat Series
I have read all 26 books of this Series, giving each a 5 rating, but holding a written review until finishing said series. The stories are well written, believable and exciting. Each one makes the reader (in this case, me) eager to read the next one! Unfortunately, the last book left me unsettled, a little disgruntled, and wishing for a more satisfying ending. I can't help thinking that Mr. Robinson would have ended it differently.

A shame to have the series end
Very sad to hear this was the end of the series. Having left Facebook a number of years ago, I was not aware that Ed crossed over the bar back in 2020 until reading the reviews of a previous book. My condolences to the family. I also have read all 26 of the Breeze books and for the most part, enjoyed them greatly. Yeah the politics got to be a bit much at times but still enjoyable, as was this one. Other then the very short chapters, I was averaging one chapter a day to make this final book last. Will be curious to see if Wayne Stinnett will bring Breeze back down the road.

Forever Grateful
Hurts to see this story come to an end. Ed has touched my life with his writing and I’ll be forever grateful for the way it’s changed me. I never met him but I did share Pelican Bay with him one time. His stories inspired me to go see it for myself and the trawler was their with the sailboat tied next to it back in their private corner. I’m also a big fan of a Wayne so it’s fitting that he was able to send Breeze off into the sunset. We will miss you, Ed.

Still too sad....
Well, as much as I’d love to give a review for Ed’s last book, I can’t bring myself to read it yet, knowing he is gone and this will be his last one..... If I rate it like I would all 25 of the others in the series, it will get 5 stars (except for the mountain series one that Brody and Meade’s dog were killed, that book made me really sad). I knew this last book seemed like it was taking forever to come out, and when it finally did, I was crushed to then know why. What an ultimate adventure Ed took so many of us on, in his wonderful Meade Breeze series over the years, he quickly became my favorite author. He will be so very missed by so many fans..... R.I.P. Ed, and thank you Kim for making sure his last book was finished through Wayne Stinnett, thank you to Wayne as well....

A Breeze adventure.
A good adventure story. Unfortunately my reading of this book was interrupted many times. However afrer reading several Breeze books I can pick up the the story line any time. Interesting ends.

A fitting end to a wonderful saga.
I met Meade Breeze while reading Trawler Trash several years ago. I’ve followed him all over Florida, the Caribbean, the East coast and the gulf. I’ve survived hurricanes with Breeze. I’ve seen him find love, lose it and find it again somewhere else. I knew Breeze when he was a his lowest and at his pinnacle. I loved everything about Breeze and I’m gonna miss him. If you know him like I do, you’ll love the final chapter. Or maybe not so final, who knows? Wayne Stinnett did a masterful job of finishing this book after Ed Robinson passed. Who knows wear Breeze and the gang will end up with their new names. Maybe around Marathon and the Rusty Anchor. Good bye Breeze. It’s been amazing.

Great end to a fantastic series of books
Fantastic story telling, just a great shame there won't be anymore, life can be cruel sometimes and none more than when a talented author is taken away from us prematurely.

Very fitting last journey for Breeze
I've read all of the Breeze books and this final one is up there with the very best. Good story as always well paced and a fantasic last line that left a lump in my throat.

Great series
I really liked the whole Breeze series. Read those and then went back and read the whole trawler Trash series. I was sad to hear that Ed Robinson had died. Thanks to the group of authors that finished his last book for him.
