Remove the tip to dispense the base amount into the mixing cup using the Tans and Grey to get close to the color and shade. Then use white, black and yellow sparingly to close in on the color. The color depth should be a little lighter than desired, it dries slightly darker. Apply and smooth with the spatula then blend into the existing color with an alcohol applied to a rag. This coat may be all you need if the color difference is unnoticeable when dry. Keep your mix tightly sealed in the mixing jar provided until the next day for adjusting, it beats starting over! Do not disturb it while it dries, or you will be redoing the whole thing. It is important to have a good finish at this point. If the color is a little off after curing, use your saved mix adjusting lighter or darker to get closer to ideal. Use your finger to apply a finish coat and blend with alcohol wet rag. When done, use the same rag to clean off your hands as it comes right off with rubbing alcohol. The best you are going to do is to make the damaged area unnoticeable to most but you. It will not be as good as the original, but this is the best product I have tried, and it is the easiest I have found to mix and apply. The finish is soft yet durable. Good luck on your project.

Was what I needed and works great

The product comes with everything you need for mild to moderate repairs. I used it for vinyl and matched my color, with the promised customer support. (They respond within 24 hours.) Take time blending and follow instructions. It beats the cost of reupholstering and prevents minor damage from worsening.

10 day update: Unfortunately didn't even have to wait 6 months for update. The repair done on the area where I place my elbow have already started to crack again. Even applying the repair material thicker didn't help. Removing one star because not a good high flex repair bit still good repair visually if in other areas. Orig Review:I like this product but am withholding one star because it's repair durability is unknown. I'll add the star if in 6 months the repair holds. I like the product because of how easy it is to apply to the 3 small opened cracks on my car center console. I used an artist paint spatula for the application. I also like the product for how easy it is to mix the provided colors to match the material you are repairing. The challenge is to know which colors and proportions to mix for your material color match. I got close but was still slightly off. I used a piece of flat clear plastic cut from product packaging to help with the color match. The plastic was used as a base to place a possible match sample to lay on my car center console to see how close the sample is. I mixed 5 samples before I came close enough for my liking. Using the clear plastic removed the need to apply each sample on the console for color comparison. My application of the final color mix wasn't perfect. On 2 of the 3 cracks I applied the product thicker with the hope the repair will hold up longer since my elbow rest on that spot all the time. The 3rd crack was a thin coating and was almost invisible. This repair product is definitely much easier to use than the one I used 10+ years ago which required heating the product with hot flat iron. I'll update this in 6 months or earlier depending how well the repair hold up.

The product is easy to use however colors are limited and filler is thin. Color choices are ok if you don't need brown/espresso. Mixing the colors provided doesn't mstch up as well as buying the color already mixed. I used a stain (from a previous kit) and it took 2 coats but looked better. Until sealing. Then it started coming off. Restrain and reseal but see this is going to be a problem. Secondly the filler is thin so although it seems to hold the backing, it's too thin the fill the cracks. Figure do a couple extra layers, but that hasn't worked either. I wouldn't buy this product again, the color choices are poor and the product isn't thick enough to fill little gaps.. Think I'll shop around.

I ripped a 3" tear in my leather car seats when I sat in the car and somehow pushed the seat belt buckle right into the side of the seat. I was so upset by the unsightly tear but decided to try to patch myself before spenign a lot of money on having the seat repaired professionally. It took a few tries to get the color mix right but when I did and applied it to the tear, it went on smoothly and looked great. I let it dry overnight and applied a second coat the next night as suggested. This saved me a ton of money and it looks great! Highly recommend trying this low cost alternative to having your leather seats repaired in a shop!

Can not get the colors to match and does not blend into the cracks nicely.

Excellent product, it really does what it says and works for a variety of colors. I was able to repair several things at home and the results were very good.

I blended it and it’s darker when wet once dried it lightens up so matched almost perfect! I have applied it almost a month ago and it’s held up. No issues! Great buy! I have like a light beige couch ! And my kid got some hot pink sharpie color on it and it covered it!! No peek a boo color at all !

Terrible, the colour changes a lot after drying. 3 tubes came half empty. very disappointed.

Excellent really worked. The damage from my stressed cat who’s 9 - I thought was unrepairable. I searched to find away to get repaired. I came across this and it’s great. Takes a bit of time. But well worth it. Still see very very faint mark but not really noticeable. Great product and I have other colours like cream for my car seats if a repair is needed.
