I got this tool to cut paving blocks and to trim a long length of concrete coping. It performed the job very well and proved much easier to use than my old 9 inch angle grinder. The supplied diamond blade cuts smoothly with no more than the weight of the machine needed to progress the cut. The ergonomics are good and the soft-start feature is very welcome. I added a mini bubble level to assist with perpendicular cuts - see photo.

Used this tool to cut out several meters worth of reinforced concrete. Did the job wonderfully, my only gripe is the so called premium blade wore down very quickly. I brought a different brand of blade for around £45, which is slightly smaller and this one has done 3x more cutting and is still not blunt. Would recommend this tool 100% for tough jobs but you may want to get a better circular blade for tougher jobs.

Went through bricks and cement like a knife through butter

Firstly this is a great little cutter very easy to use, powered through brick /concrete block and lintols without a problem, cutting depth is a massive advantage, moved away from the petrol saws years ago too problematic, been using makita grinders for toothing out etc but this saw feels a lot safer to use especially at shoulder height, NOW THE BAD BIT after two weeks of use the saw gave up started popping lost power and a very strong smell of burning, I changed the brushes just out of curiosity but no difference, Amazon have taken it back and issued a refund so not a major problem, assuming the saw I received was a one off I would happily order another it's to good not to be given a second chance
