I wish it was double sided- Recording one one side and something else on the other side.

Need a way to notify workers when my training video recording sessions are in progress. The bright red color improves visibility.

Perfect solution.Can I just use a piece of paper and stick it to a door? Sure. Use a marker on a nearby whiteboard. Yeah I can do that too.But I carry 2 of these in my bag and I've got a solution at all times.For what it is, the price was a little much. But, that's more of a niggle. In fact, as I write this - I've already forgotten what they cost me. I just remember I would have bought a couple more if it weren't for the price. But two suits me just fine.I like that I can stick it to a wall - hang on a door handle - or on a light stand. Perfect for getting peoples attention.I realize I've written more than needed for a small sign - but if you're searching for something like this, then obviously you wanna know. My only worry is losing these. I've got my name and address on the back just in case.They're well made. So no worries there.

Sturdy and durable I guess...

Well there’s not much I can say other than it is what you pay for XD. It’s plastic, pretty durable, and does the job. Nothing spectacular about it or life changing but when I am recording people in my home now know to keep it down and do not disturb. I’d recommend it to people. Pretty cheap and a nice way to keep things quiet. The only possible way I can see this being a problem is if you have kids or live in a rowdy environment.

So happy with this purchase! The quality is excellent and it arrived quickly. I make DIY youTube videos and it never fails, someone always walks in the room talking, when I'm in the middle of recording a video. Ugh! This door hanger is the perfect little tool to stop them in their tracks and quiet people from making a noisy racket in the hallway. I came across this when searching for an "ON AIR" lighted sign on Amazon. I couldn't find one I liked, and didn't really want to run an extension cord up above the doorway. This low-tech door hanger does the job just fine! The front is a nice bright red. The back side is blank white. When not in use, I just flip it over to the white side (or move it to the handle inside the room).My DJ son live streams his music on Soundcloud, and I bought him  On Air Microphone Recording Radio Podcast Plastic Door Knob Hanger Sign  the "On Air" door hanger as a gift. It's especially useful for him, because no one wants to interupt a live performance!

What can I say? It’s a decent, highly visible sign that does a great job of stopping my kids from barging in while I’m recording.Not sure what it’s made of but it seems sturdy enough to let for a while.

It serves its purpose, but if you are constantly recording and taking breaks from each recording session several times throughout the day, you might want to be careful when you switch door knobs. A piece of the top of mine broke off, and is taped up now.
