works great
i stripped the drain plug on my harley fatboy trans and bought this product hoping it would work or else i wouldve had to buy a helicoil kit and tap the stripped hole in the case. i followed the directions and the next day i put the drain plug back in and no leaks..

Utterly worthless
Utterly worthless. The mixture never hardened in spite of carefully dispensing equal amounts of each compound, mixing thoroughly on a clean palate and clean spatula, and applying to carefully cleaned parts.Wondering if the problem was dirty/oily parts, I tried cleaning with contact cleaner, then brake cleaner, isopropyl alcohol, and finally straight acetone - none of them made a difference. (Separate experiments, completely cleaning the failed thread repair residue from the previous attempt off between each try.) I was sure to dry all parts using a clean paper towel and compressed air. Then I started experimenting -- I mixed up a batch of thread repair on a clean palate and let it sit overnight. The next day, I came back and the stuff had not hardened, and in fact, looked exactly as it did when I'd mixed it up the night before.Wondering if temperature was a factor (I was using this stuff in a cold garage), I tried heating up the workpiece with a hair dryer. I got it to the 72 degree recommended application temperature listed in the instructions (using an IR thermometer to check). Success! The stuff got firm after about five minutes. I removed the bolt and let the part sit for another hour per instructions. When I put the bolt back in and torqued it down, the stuff stripped right out. It had the consistency of soft clay.I've probably spent hours experimenting with this stuff at this point. Total waste of time and money.Final note: the listing says it is good for torque up to 128 ft lb. This is completely misleading - if you look at the actual spec card, you'll see that is for a 1" or M25 bolt only. For more common sizes, the max torque is much less: for example, for a 1/4" or M6 bolt, the max rated torque is only 2 ft lbs.!!! TWO FOOT POUNDS?? You could probably apply 2 ft lbs. by just breathing on a wrench!

Good for large bolts
I used this on two stripped screw holes. One was a large M6 bolt and the other was a smaller M4. It worked pretty well on the M6 and not at all on the M4. I've read similar comments by others, so I wish they'd specify in the description that this product isn't intended for small, fine screw threads.

Perfect!!!!!
This is so much better than JB Weld! I used this to fix my spa heater and saved over $1000 buck on a Jady Part since the threads where plastic and the other connection was pipe (Threaded Part). I will buy this and time I have tough job to fix Threads!

Don't have any comment on this product, because as things turned out I did not have to use it, but I'm sure the product would work as described.

Not For Smaller Bolts and Screws?
I tried and tried and despite meticulously following the instructions could not get this product to work. I finally just drilled out the hole and tapped it for the next larger size. It is possible that it is intended for larger bolt sizes although the packaging makes no mention of any size limitations. I would say if you're going to try this product don't use it on anything smaller than 5/16".
