Q: Can this Product be used on floors? I'm trying to find a finish for old heart pine.

This product works well for a floor finish.

Q: Is there a catalyst for this?

There’s no catalyst for this. Not sure why you’re asking, but there’s no need for one. This is a water based finish. It works very well and if you follow their instructions, you’ll get good results. Sprays easily and dries fairly quick.

Q: Which is better for spraying? Enduro or high performance

Either on can be sprayed easily without thinning. Enduro var II even though it’s a water based poly, it is “oil enhanced”, which will have a tendency to add the slightest amount of amber color where the high performance will dry water clear. Both are great products. The pics are of a curly maple vanity I built with an amber colored dye with 3 coats of the enduro var II sprayed on. Dries very smooth.

Q: What spray gun or system works best with enduro or high performance

I used a spray gun from home depot with a 1.4 mm tip and pressure at 40 #'s to the gun. It was a 2 gun kit for $100. My compressor is a 20 gal, 200 psi max pressure, 4cfm @ 90 psi. I sprayed 4-5 cabinet faces 3 coats and it worked great. The compressor did run occasionally when I was spraying but not every time. I cleaned the gun between coats since I waited about 2 hrs for drying and sanding with 220 grit sandpaper. The hardest part is seeing where you've sprayed since it's a clear finish.
