These coat or towel racks are made of galvanized iron boat cleats and pine planks painted navy blue and white. The galvanized dock cleats are authentic marine hardware rated for rugged use in saltwater environments, but they have been sealed to prevent the natural dulling and graying that always happens to galvanized metals over time. These racks come in a variety of sizes from 24" to 48" long; they are all approximately 5" wide. We use 3.5 inch cleats on all our racks. Larger cleats are available by special request (and require pricing adjustments).

The sturdy hanging method is difficult if using wall anchors
Quality, nice looking product. The sturdy hanging option is difficult if you do not have studs to screw into. Expect to have difficulty finding extra long and yet attractive colored screws that will fit into wall anchors and for less than $10.

Excellent towel rack!
We made our bathroom a "nautical theme" and this rack looks fabulous! The quality is very nice. I was hesitate to spend as much on it as I did but was very happy when I saw such quality in the product!

Great addition to our beach condo
Had to remove the mounting hardware from the back. I bought decking screws to mount it to the wall. I am using it for towels, not as a decorative piece.
