I’m not a fan of the smell of tea tree oil. Still, it is supposed to help with psoriasis, and I am desperate for relief so I thought I’d give this a try. That said, this soap has a light fragrance that intensifies in the shower. Afterwards, though, it leaves only a subtle fragrance on the skin and it is more of a soap smell than tea tree.While I have tried other scents of this brand of soap and loved them, I’m not so excited about this one. Perhaps because I see it more as a treatment than a luxurious indulgence. That’s not to say that it’s not great soap, because it is. I have noticed some relief in the itching associated with psoriasis, and what’s more, it has reduced the amount of itching from insect bites (I camp every weekend, so I’m covered in them). I didn’t honestly know that tea tree was something that could help with itchy insect bites, but I noticed the relief right away. It leaves my skin feeling very clean, but on the dry side.Those who love tea tree oil or who have oily skin would probably enjoy this soap much more than I, but I am pleased with the therapeutic results I’ve seen thus far.I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

Calmed down my dry itchy rashy skin

This soap smelled so good when I opened the package. In fact, I could smell it through the outer packaging and the box it came in. It is a good size bar, and I am enjoying it in the shower. I have pretty sensitive skin and am prone to eczema so many soaps cause flare-ups after a few uses, but after a little more than a week, I have had no ill effects. The scent has faded quite a bit; I wish it was as strong now as when it arrived but it is still nice. I love the fact that it is organic and I can feel good about the ingredients. I have tried Aura's oils as well and they are good quality products. I received this soap as a discount in exchange for an unbiased review and I can stand behind it; it is a good quality product.

I REALLY LIKE THESE SOAPS! They make your skin feel so soft after usage. I previously purchased the lavender soap and we use it to wash our hands in the evening to begin the process of relaxing and getting ready for bed (We practice aromatherapy and lavender is recommended to help you sleep so we overgeneralize and use it everywhere we can. LOL) We used this tea tree and calendula soap when we went hiking and came home with red skin. Tea Tree usually helps soothe skin rashes and burns. This soap did exactly that. It helped with the tight feeling of our skin after our hike. WHile these soaps are a bit pricier than many others, I believe they are worth the cost. You'll like them. I've tried several organic soaps. Most of the soaps have 3 problems. 1. They are too overpowering with Fragrance. 2. Don't lather well. 3. Don't last. This is NOT the case with the Organic Aura soap. It has a really light smell, enough to smell the Tea Tree & Calendula.I really enjoy the Tea Tree and Calendula soap my skin isn't dryed out and it somewhat glows after using. Most of all the soap won't compete w/ my deodorant or cologne.Pros:1. Great Smell2. Lathers Well3. Doesn't dry skin out4. Very light scent5. Leaves you feeling fresh and cleanCons:1.
