Long awaited book in the series
It seems like I've waited forever for this follow up to Nothing But Trouble. The long wait is all worth it I can say because like NTB, I enjoyed this very much. The whole college sports/NA romance is a slippery slope of a trope for me, because let's face it, I'm a middle aged woman so I clearly DO NOT belong to its target readers. But when done right, it could belong to one of my top reads. Like this book.I love how this book is written, I love the characters, their friendshis, the humour and of course, the love between Dora and Dallas. This is a standalone but may I suggest to read the previous book in the series to fully appreciate the relationships among the characters.

Rich guy falls for nerdy girl and her To Do list
Dallas Van Zant is a poor little rich boy. Raised by a bipolar mother he might have all the money in the world but he learned young never to love anyone or anything, because they always leave you. A god of the water polo team he's feted by men and women, not committed to anything, drinking, sleeping and using his way through college until he joins his grandfather's beer behemoth or kills himself in one of his adrenaline-seeking stunts.Dora might have unconventional parental units but otherwise her life is cookie-cutter perfect with ambitions to become a vet. Her only weakness is her pathetic crush on Dallas, a guy who doesn't even know she exists until one night she steps outside her comfort zone and kisses him.If you like a YA/NA novel where the super hot stud helps the short curvy nerd tick off her To Do List for the year then you'll definitely enjoy this. Slower and more measured than the first book this is intelligent and takes place over more than just a couple of weeks. Some of Dora's friends (I mean you Zoe) are super-annoying but they aren't in many scenes so I can deal.P Dangelico has set this at the same time as the first book so events in the first book also happen in this one. Not sure if she's intending to this with all the books in the series and whether it will be interesting or really irritating.Anyway, considering I keep saying I'm like sooo totally over NA/YA I enjoyed this one. Guess a favourite author can make even me reconsider a tired genre with good writing and believable characters.I received a free copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in return for an honest review.

A delight.
Love this author. Love this series. Dallas was the best, Dora and his connection was perfectly written. Love cool, player characters who are deep down just looking for a connection and he found it with Dora. Dora was a lovely surprise. Nervous, but inwardly strong and ended up perfect for Dallas, even though she wasn't his so called usual type. Fantastic, can't wait for next book.

I love anything this author writes! That’s, EVERYTHING! There’s nothing she has written that hasn’t captivated me in some way. Can’t wait for more!

Fabulous Read.
Nothing But Wild is the second book in P. Dangelico’s Malibu University series, and like the first I devoured this one in a single sitting. After finishing Nothing But Trouble, I was desperate for more of the group I had fallen for. I often find authors make us wait for the favourite characters to get their stories, but such was not the case with this series. Although I am desperate to see how all the stories play out, I was most interested in seeing on Dora and Dallas played out.I will be honest and say I was a wee bit unsure of this one at first. A lot of the early stuff in this one occurs alongside what happened in Nothing But Trouble, and I’m not crazy when this happens. References to earlier books in a series are fine, but I much prefer it when things stand alone. Fortunately, this changed the deeper into the book I got. Then, when things really got going, I could not put it down.Nothing But Wild was a book I had to complete in a single sitting. Once I started, I could not stop. I was addicted in the best way possible, sucked into the story, and fell deeper and deeper in love with the characters the more we got to see. I may not be labelling this my favourite P. Dangelico read, but it certainly had me hooked.I’m now eagerly awaiting book three, as I’m positive it’s going to be another winner.

A FRIENDS TO LOVERS Y/A STORY
A friends to lovers story.I have read books by this author before Bulldozer and Heartbreaker, Nothing but wild is nothing like those, it contained very little angst, it's sweet, it's heartwarming and contains a swoon-worthy hea, it had all the feels of a college romance with younger characters, a Y/A N/A crossover.Dallas and Dora are opposites, Dora is a sweet girl with a stammer, she volunteers at an animal shelter while Dallas is a popular guy, a party goer and they are from completely different backgrounds but they worked. Their slow build from friendship to romance was heartwarming.I haven't read previous books in this Malibu University series but having read reviews, I suggest doing so before this story and understanding the dynamic of this friendship group with Dallas and other characters because I couldn't really bond with Dallas at all and I think that would have come from reading previous books and wanting to know more about him, I didn't find him interesting enough and I do prefer more angst in my books too which I found very little of in NOTHING BUT WILD to keep me eagerly turning the pages. In summary; a heartwarming young adult, friends to lovers storyARC RECEIVED FOR REVIEW PURPOSES
