Be patient
These are cold hardy plants. Some germination tips:1) they need to "wake up" from hibernation. Put them in the fridge for 4 weeks. Don't touch.2) they take awhile to germinate. I put mine in a sealed, clear container (takeout box), with damp, loose soil. Left it alone.3) it took a good three weeks before anything happened. I got ten sprouts at once.4) I removed the started plants CAREFULLY (break that taproot and you're done) and transferred them to a seed starter set (e.g. tray with lots of 1" pockets of dirt, with a plastic cover to maintain humidity). Mine has a water catch tray so the solid stays wet.5) I check every week and repeat step 4. I plan to leave them now as-is (Dec) For a few months (May) before transferring them to anything else.I'm up to 20 germinated, 19 successfully transferred. The first 10 are 4-5" tall now.

Low and slow germination rate and speed
Not sure why, but it took weeks for one single seed to germinate and then couple weeks more for two more to sprout of which one doesn't look healthy either. So, that's about a 2% germination rate. Have to wait and see how they do still. (Fingers crossed). Very slow growing rate too.

Took time...
Wow, ok, at first like a lot of others I was disappointed, expecting these to sprout within a few weeks but I think only one, maybe two did. I gave them a little longer, a month and still, no more, maybe 1. I sadly went ahead and dumped the soil mix out, just hoping to tend to the finally 2, maybe 3 in what was left of a 12 pack of seed trays, but expecting any more and, vola, woa, almost every mini pot of the 12 now has sprouts 😳 I was shocked 😲 Darn, I wish that I hadn't dumped the rest of the others out 😭 Just be patient and give them time and hopefully you'll have the same results. I'm sooo tickled. It may take several months before you see multiple sprouts, but finally they should come. I'm sooo excited 🤗 Just give them time.

A long journey.
The media could not be loaded. I bought these seeds last August (it's July 31) and I finally have flowers! They were difficult to get started, only the ones I gave up on and left in a Tupperware that was water logged for a week grew. I have 8 in my garden currently and will add pictures as they flower. I'm a little disappointed that I worked so hard and got white ones first. These are beloved by many insects. I battled aphids, mystery bugs, Japanese beetles and grasshoppers. The grasshoppers were the most devastating.8/30/23 - plant 2 flowered and it looks like it may end up being pink! It's gorgeous and smells wonderful!9/7/23 - plant 3 is the largest of them all and has white flowers.9/9/23 - plant 4 has pink flowers! It's so much more beautiful in person.7/5/24 - year 2 video

Germintae.
Not one of them germinate,........you know if I need sand paper and soak then 24 hours and on and on. Should have HAD directions .......I have seeds off my plants and they come up and even bloom. It's not the grower. IT'S THE SEEDS. I'm a gardener. And NO plant came up.

Seeds all mixed together, no instructions
All the seeds were mixed together, did not realize that the seeds would not be separated. No directions that need to soak overnight before hand for best results - no instructions.

Amazing!
I had gotten more than the amount of seeds posted and i followed the instructions of this other reviewer who said to sand paper the seeds a little bit and then put them in water for 8 hours before planting. All of them grew but some died because i over watered the saplings.I have 50 plants growing very nicely! I think they will bloom next year! The other thing is the ones i didn't sand paper didn't grow at first, but when it got really cold then they Sprouted so i suppose they needed to be exposed to cold before planting because those 8 grew lolThese are great I shall add more pictures when they bloom!
