The gel inside the packs retain cold temperatures for about 30 minutes before they start feeling very neutral. I get shin splints occasionally as a runner and these allowed me to perform cold therapy which I would say is quite effective. I usually start off by wearing them inside out so that the less cold side makes contact with my legs to prevent any form of frost bite and after about 20 minutes, I would flip it inside out and have the outside making direct contact with my skin for an even longer cold therapy session.They conform nicely when wrapped around my legs ensuring full coverage. Due to how cold it can get, they definitely provide a soothing relief after a tough workout or as part of an injury recovery. They sit in my freezer when not in use but when they are, they provide enough lasting cold therapy to speed up leg recovery. The materials are durable and comfortable and I definitely recommend giving these gel packs a try.

My son is loving these! He is an 18-year-old senior football player who has been dealing with shin splints on and off for the past few years. I got these a couple weeks ago for him and I can tell these are working great because the first thing he does when he gets home from practice is kick off his shoes, take off his socks and put his ice wraps on. He says it’s almost unbearable for the first five minutes, but it feels so good!

I love these things! I have been marathon training and have been dealing with nagging shin splints. These are great for making sure I ice most nights. The inside the the wraps are a smooth velvety material that makes the cold much more tolerable so they are not unbearable to put on. 10/10

My husband and I have large calves and these fit great and provide good pain relief. They make it very easy to wrap your calf or arm and get great cooling all around. Price was quite reasonable for two.

This product is good for cooling your Calf and forearm. It provide different type of temperature depending which side of the pack you utilized. It had the soft fabric or nylon contact. The only draw back for this is a little heavier but it does the job.

This brand seems to get colder than some other brands. I really like them. They fit very well. The bands or long and quite usable. I am very happy with them.

I used them to ice my ruptured Achilles. It was important to have two so I could rotate them every 40 minutes. The velcro straps are perfect for any reasonably sized leg.

These are adjustable and fit great. Reduced swelling due to an injury. Love that you don’t have to sit with ice packs, you can walk around and still get the same results. Totally recommend these.
