COVERGIRL - Clean Matte BB Cream, Oil-Free, Long-Lasting, Sensitive Skin, Lightweight, 100% Cruelty-Free

I finally found my favorite fountain for my mature skin. Cover Girl has always (I've thought) been good quality/value makeup, I've loved it since I was in highschool.... forever ago lol. I've tried high end foundations and affordable foundations and after trying this little tube of BB cream, I'll stick with it. It covers well, not full coverage obviously as it's a BB cream, but the coverage is effective. It's not thick and cakey at all. It looks pretty on the skin and the match was pretty spot on. I didn't notice any dryness after wearing it for 8 hours WITH matte powder and setting spray. I am extremely impressed!

Excellent. Perfect product for me. I use the shade medium and it is perfect for my medium olive complexion. It covers a lot of redness that I have without being full coverage. My skin is oily and on the way to mature (44 yo) with lots of redness and some loss of elasticity and fine lines as well as hyperpigmentation. I've had a really hard time finding a product with good, natural looking coverage that is also matte. I really love this and hope they never discontinue. It's probably not good unless your skin is oily though.

As per usual Covergirl puller through. This bb cream goes on like a dream and it virtually smoothes your skin within minutes. It looks like you have a naturally great glow and is not greasy or heavy. The only drawback is the lack spf and what I've found is it tends to shift a bit later on in the day so your skin appears a tiny bit less perfect. It also dries out your skin a bit, but overall it's a great product.

I'm an Asian with oily and acne prone skin. I've been using Holika Holika Pore Clearing Petit BB Cream for the past few years and was looking for something better. As much as I like how Holika Holika has a pretty high SPF and tea tree oil which is beneficial for my skin, it does have a grey undertone that makes me look sickly and also makes my face look like a greasy mess after a few hours.I figured that BB cream that contains any SPF will be too greasy for me no matter if it's marketed towards mattifying or for oily skin. In my search to find a BB cream without SPF, I found Covergirl Clean Matte BB Cream for Oily Skin purely by accident. I figured that if this doesn't work then oh well, I'll go back to my normal BB cream and let the search continues. Turns out that Covergirl shades match my skin tone perfectly (similar to Holika Holika without the grey undertone) and it's cheap.My routine: Trader Joe's Rose Water Toner, Secret Key Aloe Soothing Toner mix with TO Squalene, Benton Snail Bee Essence mix with Vit C, TO Salicylic Acid, Mizon Snail Ampoule mix with TO Niacinamide, Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence SPF50+/PA++++, Covergirl BB Cream, and a light dust of translucent powder.This cream is very buildable and has medium coverage. It does dry fairly quickly and that's when a damp beauty blender comes in handy. I found that it's mattifying but not drying, and most importantly I only need to blot my face maybe once or twice a day now. I think the key is to use a separate SPF.I'm very happy with this product so far and will definitely repurchase again.

CoverGirl Clean Matte BB Cream is my absolute favorite BB cream! I’ve tried several other brands, and none can really compare. I’ve been using CG clean matte BB cream for nearly two years, and I haven’t searched for anything else since! I normally purchase it from a drugstore, but I happened to order it from Amazon this time and I’m not disappointed! Same quality product, and I actually received two bottles instead of just the one I had ordered (not sure if this was intentional or not)!Some advice when using this product: don’t use your hands/fingers to apply! I get excellent and quick coverage using a foundation brush. Sponges (wet or dry) seem to absorb the product no matter what. The foundation brush applies the BB cream “effortlessly” and thoroughly. This is NOT a tinted moisturizer, so don’t expect it to feel like one! It’s a little thick but it feels very lightweight. Great staying power for someone with oily skin! I do wish that CG would make more shades because I find myself needing to mix fair and light together during the winter months. I have warm to neutral undertones and some days the fair looks too chalky and the light looks to yellow. In the summer I really like the light/medium shade. I mix it with a few drops of illuminating bronzer and my skin looks absolutely radiant! Try it for yourself and see!

Like you, I was searching for a less heavy foundation to wear every day–you know, something that still has minimal to light coverage but doesn't look too 'heavy baked.'Amazon of course recommend me to two products: (1) CG Smoothers and (2) CG Clean Matte BB Creams. So I bought both and compared, so you don't have to...Please note, I'm a 30 year old mom still suffering will occasional breakouts and uneven skintone. Nothing new, just life...I normally wear the following;- Revlon Colorstay foundation in 150, Buff,- Maybelline FitMe Powder in 110, Porcelain1) CG Smoothers- 805 Fair to LightThe consistency of this product is really smooth and light, more moisturising than tinting. Very light coverage, a little goes a long way, but also doesn't feel heavy on your face. I love that the color is true and doesnt oxydize. You definitely however need a setting powder to refresh every now and again. (4.5/5 stars)2)CG Clean Matte BB Creams.It's a very dense BB cream, it's similar consistency to sunscreen, heavy. It also has a very heavy sunscreen odor to it too. However it's medium coverage and very matte—keeping your face shine free all day.It's not very blendable, and you need a lot of product. Please note: this product does oxydize and gets darker. It's more medium toned than Fair and I do not recommend it for people with dry skin (3/5 stars)
